My husband and I found Dining 603 by chance on a walk one day and are so glad we did! All the bagels are made fresh every day, are handcrafted, and are very delicious. We went back a couple of times while we were in Kyoto in order to try a few different flavors and all of them were unique and very tasty. We especially liked the Melon Bread and the Coffee Bagel. The staff was very pleasant and hospitable and it was in a very comfortable, quiet, and pleasing atmosphere. It could be a little tricky to find for travelers because it isn't on the main tourist streets, but it isn't too far from other attractions in Kyoto and is well worth taking a little detour for a tasty...
Read moreThe bread was good but I wouldn't really call this a bagel place because there was no spreads, nothing to put on the bagel it's just plain, or baked into the bagel with interesting combinations...I had a plain wheat bagel with nothing on it. So it's more bread shop not a bagel. Dining in was confusing because you sit down but the bagels are by the register so you order that up front and then drink back at the table. Paid over 1,000 yen for two bagels and 1 orange juice so a bit pricey too.

The facilities were very clean and the hotel is located in a quiet residential area which isn't far from downtown, restaurants, stores and public transportation.
