My husband and I found Dining 603 by chance on a walk one day and are so glad we did! All the bagels are made fresh every day, are handcrafted, and are very delicious. We went back a couple of times while we were in Kyoto in order to try a few different flavors and all of them were unique and very tasty. We especially liked the Melon Bread and the Coffee Bagel. The staff was very pleasant and hospitable and it was in a very comfortable, quiet, and pleasing atmosphere. It could be a little tricky to find for travelers because it isn't on the main tourist streets, but it isn't too far from other attractions in Kyoto and is well worth taking a little detour for a tasty...

The bread was good but I wouldn't really call this a bagel place because there was no spreads, nothing to put on the bagel it's just plain, or baked into the bagel with interesting combinations...I had a plain wheat bagel with nothing on it. So it's more bread shop not a bagel. Dining in was confusing because you sit down but the bagels are by the register so you order that up front and then drink back at the table. Paid over 1,000 yen for two bagels and 1 orange juice so a bit pricey too.

There is one vegan bagel available...

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days and was highly satisfied with my stay. The facilities were very clean and the hotel is located in a quiet residential area which isn't far from downtown, restaurants, stores and public transportation. The couple that own the place were very gracious and always willing to assist in whatever I needed, one of the best part of my stay was the breakfast. Everyday they had a different breakfast menu of exquisite freshly made food, it become the highlight of my mornings. I highly...

If you are in Kyoto, you NEED to make time to stop here for breakfast!!! These bagels are unlike any we’ve ever had and I know nothing else will ever compare. They were perfectly warm and fluffy and the flavors were insanely delicious. We tried the apple cinnamon, sesame sweet potato, kaki roasted green tea, earl gray yuzu, and matcha bean paste. Each one was perfect and we would have kept trying more if weren’t full of bagels. The owners/staff were also very kind and welcoming. We hope to stop by again before we leave Kyoto!
