Rinn Kyoto Station West（鈴ホテル 京都駅西）【 Rinn Hotel Group 】 — Hotel in Kyoto

The best Hotel in my trips to Japan. The room is so spacious, feels like you stay in Japan with additional tatami area. With extra futon in tatami area, the room still fell spacious for 3 people.

It's self service with the cleaning is every 3 night stays, you can ask for garbage disposal everyday but I usually throw away food waste to the garbage can in laundry room so it's fine.

They provided water dispenser (a savior for us because I drink like fish), an ice cube machine, microwave and sadly only 1 washing machine/dryer (I hope they can increase this)

The hotel is lock down for safety after 11pm, but you can just enter the hotel with the same key provided for your room.

The downside is, it's quite far from the station but still manageable to go there while bringing large luggage because the road is even and not many people around. Also the step in laundry room, we trip or almost fell twice there because we forgot it's there. And I don't know how to setup the AC, so 1 night it's so hot, the other it's so cold. And 1 night it's suddenly became too hot in the middle of the night. Maybe the hotel can give instruction on how to...

“Spacious room and excellent service!” Reasonable distance from Kyoto Main Station (~10-12 mins walk).

Great staff services that help me to complete check in process when I come to drop my luggage and give me key so that I can get in to my room directly after 4pm. They even put your luggage in room already, which is another great point that no need to wait at front desk to get luggage by yourself.
