Hot Chicken Hotel, really disgusting! ! ! It kept me awake all night! ! ! Sit in your chair until dawn! ! Before coming here, I stayed in another 700 hotel, which was clean, tidy, spacious and bright. But it was full on Saturday, so I chose this one. The price was twice as high. I thought this one must be much better because the reviews and pictures were good, but I ended up in Lidapu! ! ! ! Very, very super invincible! ! ! ! It is no exaggeration to say that it is simpler than the 300-yuan B&Bs I saw online! ! ! ! I once wondered if I had entered the wrong place! ! But it actually got four diamonds, haha... This review is really awesome! The front desk is less than two square meters, and only one person can pass through the corridor...What's even more outrageous is that upon entering the room, there was a strong, musty, damp smell that was not ventilated. I thought about opening the window for ventilation, but it turned out that the window was fake, even with frosted glass... I couldn't see outside, which was very depressing. Then I was too tired, so I took off my clothes and played with my phone on the bed. Two hours later, I started to get red rashes all over my body, with swelling and itching. I lay on my side, but the other side was much better! Reported to Ctrip, they said the hotel does not accept any form of compensation. And from beginning to end, he didn’t even say an apology! ! ! What an awesome attitude! ! There were also unknown stains on the mirror. Fortunately, I only booked one night. I checked in too late and couldn't change hotels. I was unlucky. This kind of ** hotel should close down soon and stop...
Read moreBeautiful boutique hotel with extremely friendly staff. The rooms are a little tight with limited space to store things but I think my Japanese standards it was good. I like that there was a closet where I could hang up my clothes, store some things, and store my suitcase so it could be out of sight. I imagine it might be a little difficult for two people who have more luggage.
I love that there is an electric kettle in the room so you can make tea or coffee (they provide coffee!). There’s also a small fridge provided should you need it. There’s also a Bluetooth speaker in the room, which is great because I like to stream music while getting ready.
The hotel is close to the Karasuma line and only two stops from Kyoto station. It’s also walkable to most places you want to go. I particularly loved the lounge hours where they had coffee/tea/snacks in the afternoon and wine/beer/snacks in the evening.
I stayed for 5 nights and it truly felt like my mini home in Kyoto. It was nice being away from all the crowds. I would definitely...
Read moreWe absolutely loved our stay at this hotel in Kyoto. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless and welcoming. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The location was perfect - so convenient for exploring the city yet peaceful when we wanted to relax.
The staff truly made the experience exceptional. A special thank you to Mariko at reception, who helped us with our luggage transfer and went out of her way to be kind, attentive, and helpful - her warmth made us feel instantly at home. We also want to thank the wonderful gentleman at breakfast each morning. The breakfast itself was a highlight of our stay. The delicious dishes, fresh pastries, and beautifully presented plates were unforgettable, but it was his friendliness and care that made it even more memorable. We still miss those breakfasts!
This was an amazing stay all around: the hotel, the people, the food, and the atmosphere. Thank you so much for making our time in Kyoto so special. We can’t wait...
