The normal spicy level for the Mabokari ramen (number three on the menu) already was nice, but I didn't try the other spice levels, so I can't tell how much spicier it gets. You need to pay extra for the spice level (all in the menu). For people with a low tolerance of spicy food, the normal version should be fine, but keep in mind that I like spicy food.

Also, the chicken katsu is very light and crispy which goes perfectly with the very flavorful curry and the raw egg yolk is a great touch to add another depth to the flavor. I got a #2 level spice and it was just right. I like spice a lot but want to also taste the food.

We ordered the "Katsutama Mapo Curry" and additional jalapeño. The food is very delicious. The jalapeño add a hint of freshness & complement the taste of the mapo curry perfectly. The cutlet is crispy on the outside & soft on the inside. The curry taste is also not overpowering.
