Choosing a hotel for our first trip to Japan was daunting, but we selected the HOTEL RESOL TRINITY OSAKA specifically for its promise of an authentic Japanese vibe, and it exceeded every expectation. As a family of four—traveling from the UK with our two energetic boys (ages 7 and 9)—the entire experience, from booking to check-out, was seamless and supportive. We were so impressed with the patience of the staff who helped us secure a perfect family room, which was a wonderful relief for our first location in the country. The Perfect Introduction to Japanese Hospitality The staff were simply outstanding. Not only were they extremely helpful and patient with our direct booking from the UK, but their warmth towards us and our children was genuine and memorable. Their kindness instantly made us feel welcome and settled. The hotel itself perfectly blends sleek, modern design with deeply comforting traditional Japanese aesthetics, instantly giving you that peaceful ryokan feeling right in the city center. The location is brilliant for exploring. We found the proximity to multiple metro lines, especially Yodoyabashi Station, made navigating Osaka an absolute breeze. Room Comfort and Thoughtful Amenities Our family room, which accommodated the four of us comfortably, served as a truly relaxing haven after long days of travel. The thoughtful amenities within the room were fantastic, and I especially loved the Nespresso machine—a perfect touch for a quality cup of coffee to kickstart every morning. Beyond the room, the hotel's design truly stood out with its multi-floor amenities. This meant that convenient facilities like quiet work desks to plan our itinerary, guest laundry facilities, and ice machines were always close by, making the whole stay incredibly efficient. A Luxurious Retreat and a Boy's Dream The absolute highlight for me—and a necessary ritual after long days of sightseeing—was the hotel’s luxurious public bath (Onsen). I didn't just feel like I was taking a bath; I felt like I was indulging in a high-end spa experience. The serene atmosphere and tranquil design of the facility were perfect for unwinding and genuinely soaking away the fatigue of travel. Meanwhile, for my boys, the real thrill started outside! They were completely captivated by the incredible engineering of the really cool car park. Watching the mechanical tower silently retrieve and store vehicles became a source of constant excitement and wonder for them! Culture, Cuisine, and Brand Loyalty We loved the focus on cultural immersion. The hotel organized various complimentary experiences throughout the week for guests, such as traditional calligraphy classes and beautiful ikebana (flower arranging) workshops. These hands-on opportunities were perfect for the boys and gave us a genuine taste of Japanese art and tradition right at our doorstep. Dining was equally impressive. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, offering an abundance of choice. The quality and sheer variety of Japanese and Western dishes ensured everyone in the family, even the pickiest eaters, started the day energized. Our experience was so overwhelmingly positive—from the excellent facilities, the cozy room (and the Nespresso!), and the outstanding staff—that we decided to entrust the same brand with the second leg of our trip. With the wonderful assistance of the manager and staff, we successfully booked our upcoming stay in Tokyo with the same hotel brand. The HOTEL RESOL TRINITY OSAKA was truly the perfect choice for our first-ever Japanese adventure, setting an incredibly high bar for the rest of...

Read moreOverall, I am satisfied with my stay. Let's start with the positives. Firstly, the hotel's location is convenient, being a 5-minute walk between two subway stations. This proximity is quite nice. Additionally, the room is clean and tidy. The public bath is also spacious and well-maintained, providing a high level of comfort that I greatly appreciated, as it made my stay all the more enjoyable. Moreover, during my visit, I fell ill, and the hotel staff were incredibly helpful in providing clear instructions on how to reach the nearest clinic. Their assistance was greatly appreciated.
Now, moving on to the drawbacks. While the bed and pillows were okay, they weren't the most comfortable ones I've experienced. Furthermore, although the hotel is close to subway stations, it is a few stops away from the tourist area and the main train station. This might be a slight inconvenience for tourists, but if one's stay is primarily for business purposes, the location would be perfect.
The main reason I am giving a 4-star rating for my stay lies in a particular incident. I had booked the hotel in advance and requested their assistance in reserving a table at a restaurant in Osaka. Unfortunately, the hotel declined to help until the day after I checked in. This policy significantly impacted my plans, especially considering that Japanese restaurants often require hotel assistance for reservations made by foreigners. I believe the hotel could have been more flexible and accommodating in this matter, perhaps by requesting customers' credit card information to secure reservations. As a result, I was unable to book the ideal restaurant during my stay, which was my biggest disappointment throughout the trip. I want to clarify that I don't blame the hotel entirely for this issue; I simply believe they could have handled it in a more considerate and flexible manner.
In conclusion, it was a good stay overall, and I am satisfied with my experience. I would consider staying here again...
