We stayed here 3 weeks for business. The area is very nice, lots of restaurants and nice places to go out. Good public transport connection. Hotel I would not recommend though. Rooms are very small, dark and it is visible that carpet is not properly cleaned. Found some fingernails from previous guest on my rooms floor. Everything was payed in advance, full amount for 3 weeks. With all 4 rooms they had issues to give a receipt with company address printed on it. We were in total 4 people. It was a real „fight“ to get it, it took us in total more than 3 hours until we got handed out correct documents. They had to make 4 times the same but the staff was not able to manage. So in case you need an official receipt plan sufficient time not to miss your flight. The service is really bad so this is why I totally would not recommend staying in that hotel.

We arrived at 14:40 asked for a room earlier which was not possible (official 15:00!, would understand if it was morning). After coming back at 9pm we had to finalize the c/i (super slow!). We asked for room on higher floor and the receptionist without looking immediatelly replied that its booked. Ended up on 4th floor our of 13 right by the elevator - noisy! We unpacked using couple of shelves in the room since we stayed for 4 nights. Next day I found out that all my clothes are full of dust from the shelves! And when I showed a picture at the rcp (to avoid misunderstanding due to language barrier) they promised to clean it but it did not happen! So after another try at the rcp I ended up cleaning it by myself in the evening.. umbrella- you have to buy it Cosmetics- feel very bad on your skin Pyjamas- nice gesture but look worn out

The room is clean but the bathroom is old as the pictures suggest. However the curtain did have a orange steak on it when you’re inside the tub, which is quite gross. The amenities for bath are quite bad and dry up your skin.

Luckily I didn’t experience any noise and didn’t wear any earplugs. Someone did knock on my door in the morning though that was quite loud.

I am slightly disappointed in the front desk and extremely disappointed at the lady who works behind the front desk. For those who work at the front desk, they are friendly and try to help but the English is seriously lacking. I recommend having google translate app ready to go to avoid frustration. I also wouldn’t follow the suggestion to call a taxi in the busy street because there wasn’t anywhere to call and actually enter a cab. I had to walk a few blocks and found a good place to call a cab. Not helpful advice especially when it’s hot and humid out for summer

As for the lady who works behind the front desk, I am definitely disappointed at the lack of Japanese hospitality. I came back for the day and wanted to quickly eat takoyaki in the lobby before I pick up my luggage. It was not hot anymore and barely had any aroma. I assumed it was okay to eat since I recall seeing a coffee station and a “restaurant area”. Regardless, the lady from the back came out with a mean attitude saying how it’s very smelly and people have complained. She stated that the lobby is only okay for eating snacks. I thought takoyaki was a snack? I understand how it could be very aromatic, but I too was mindful in checking it wasn’t a big smell before eating. I was confused why I’m being chastised. In front of me was a disgusting dried up brown spill on the floor that wasn’t from me. I also looked around and there’s only one other guest so who really complained? I am Chinese-American. I don’t look like the typical American and I definitely felt the hate. Perhaps she assumed I am from PRC like the stereotypical Chinese tourist. Shame on her for being rude and not even bothering to ask if I was a guest and offering a suggestion to eat on the other side. I quickly went downstairs to finish outside, then went back up to the lobby within a minute or two. As I expected, there was absolutely no smell at all. Did I commit a crime to warrant such a horrible attitude from the lady behind the front desk?

I stayed at a hotel in Ginza, just 30USD more and had much cleaner, modern rooms without the (assumed) prejudice. I chose this place because a Japanese friend lived in the area and I wanted to be close. I’d rather stay one more night in my previous...

Very basic and small hotel. The rooms and especially bathroom seemed quite old. The biggest issue was the lack of any storage and space to place the luggage. Since there was literally no place to store clothes, it was required to "live" out of the open luggage. But since the bed would have been the only place to open a large suitcase, I had to improvise and remove the chairs under the desk and open the luggage there. The chair was standing in the way then, and it was annoying to move around in the room.

Since the lack of space lead to a lot of "chaos" and need to place things on the desk, in the way, etc. I didn't really use the house keeping as it would've always needed some preparations in order for them to be able to move around properly. Also the bedding was very basic and the blanket cover was not properly attached. One pillow was very hard and uncomfortable.

Additionally, the hotel only has a single elevator and it sometimes took a couple of minutes wait until the elevator arrived to leave the hotel.

The good thing about the hotel is the location; It's only a 5 minute walk from the station. Thanks to the good public transportation in Tokyo, you can easily get anywhere. There are also plenty of restaurants close to the hotel and Midtown is also just a 20-25 min walk from the hotel. A FamilyMart is right next door, two 7-Eleven in a few minutes walk distance.

For the standards of the hotel, the price was relatively high in my opinion - but it's been my first time in Tokyo and I haven't tried any other hotels. I would definitely try another hotel next time or spend a little more to have proper space. I was staying in the hotel by myself but I don't want to imagine the struggle of staying there as a couple/group with more than...
