This hotel was selected by our walking/hiking outfitter (Explore) for the start of our 12-day trip in Japan. Although it was conveniently located near many interesting sites in Asakusa, it was the worst hotel we stayed at. My single room was a dismal, cracker-box with a running toilet that the front desk didn't care to fix. I could eventually get the toilet to stop running by jiggling the handle a lot. Another member of our group also had a room with a running toilet for part of her stay. Such a waste of water! We stayed here for two nights, and we were given breakfast tickets to use at either one of their restaurants. I ate breakfast at their first-floor restaurant, and I regretted that choice as the western-style breakfast was not very good (e.g., the salad was swimming with salad dressing). After waiting 20 minutes for my meal, I could only eat part of it. The other restaurant had a buffet, but other group members commented that it wasn't very good, and the area was monopolized by another tour group. I later found a grocery store a few blocks away, and I bought breakfast food for the next day. Fortunately, there was a mini-fridge in my room. Although my room faced a busy street, it quieted down at night, so I slept ok. The pillows had some kind of seeds or beads in them, so I used the smaller accent pillow which wasn't lumpy. I would not stay at this...

There was a girl at the front desk who was very helpful and moved us to a room, but it was still really dirty... there were stains everywhere when we entered the room. Ash, there are old yellow stains on the quilt, my body is itchy when I sleep, and then the dust on the air outlet has accumulated into a pile, all the air outlets are very dark gray, I dare not turn on the air conditioner for fear of blowing the dust, wash my hands There was a strange smell in the basin, and I found that there were food residues in it... I took off the stopper and used a toothbrush to clean it myself. I forgot to take a photo of the disgusting level, so I only took a photo of the food residue I found... Anyway, it was really dirty... I told Ctrip customer service to help I applied for a refund of the 3 nights' room fee. I said that although I moved out the next day, I had moved the room, so it would be fine to refund for two nights... but I couldn't contact the agent for 3 days... When I made the reservation, it was more than 1,300 per night... which is almost 4,000 yuan. It's all over...

However, the room is too small and squeezy. Have to let another person in to their bed side before I can open up the luggage to pack. No international channels on tv. No...
