I visited Nihonn Miyabi around 4 PM in the summer, and it was a great experience. The shop has a wonderful selection of traditional Japanese crafts that really capture the spirit of Japanese culture—perfect for gifts! I especially loved the blue Mt. Fuji incense holder with its upside-down reflection design, so I bought one. I didn’t find anything negative, and I’d definitely love to visit again.

My girlfriend and I discovered this shop late one evening as they were closing. Despite being after hours, when we asked to look at some ceramics we'd spotted, the owner welcomed us warmly and gave us 20 minutes to browse their collection. My girlfriend purchased a beautiful piece, but I hesitated. After returning to Norway, I regretted not buying one myself. When I contacted the shop, they didn't yet ship to Norway, but they went above and beyond - taking time to set up international shipping just for my order. They even sent detailed photos of the piece I wanted from multiple angles. Throughout our email exchange, they patiently answered all my questions about the ceramic. I finally purchased it online and couldn't be happier. Now I drink from it every morning, and it brings back memories not just of our amazing Japan trip, but of the exceptional service and professionalism that truly embodied Japanese...

I love this store. So much that I went twice. All their souvenirs are made in Japan and very high quality. It's a small store with a nicely curated selection of gifts. The first time I bought a kokeshi doll which I had been wanting and my son wanted a set of cat chopstick holders. I went back the next day and bought another, different, kokeshi doll and the same set of chopstick holders for a friend as well as 4 lovely cloth wrapped tea leaf containers for gifts. So many other things I would've liked but our luggage was full. Their goods are reasonably priced and the store owners are lovely and speak English. So much better than trying to find something at the airport and you're supporting...

A very stylish and pleasant store with welcoming salespeople. Yesterday my husband and I spent half a day trying to find a matcha bowl on kitchen street. It was mostly junk or very questionable options priced at 10-15 thousand Yen. On our way back to the hotel, we popped into this store and walked out of there with a gorgeous handmade matcha bowl from Kyoto. If you're looking for really unique stylish items, check this place...
