Live Max - Asakusabashi Station Front — Hotel in Tokyo

This is a brand new hotel, situated about 5-min walk from the JR & Toei subway station. Though it's not exactly in the middle of a sightseeing or up-and-coming area of Tokyo, it's actually not that difficult to reach most of the main tourist spots using the train. From the nearest Asakusabashi station, you have direct train access to Asakusa, Ginza, Akihabara or Shinjuku, and you can cover majority of central Tokyo with just 1 change of train, including to both Narita and Haneda airports. Quite a few fast food restaurants can be found near the station and there is a Hanamasa supermarket one block the hotel so that's another plus.||||I take 1 star off the rating for the cramped the building hall & elevator, unavailability of breakfast for purchase on-site, and the non-automatic lock doors (you have to manually lock your room door everytime). However, the room itself was far better than what i expected to be.||||I booked a non-smoking double room and I got what I asked for. The room size was much bigger than common business hotels in Japan with similar price range, and the bathroom did not feel tiny. There is a working air humidifier/purifier in the room and the bed was comfortable. In addition, wi-fi connection was stable and fast. ||||Bottom line, i would definitely consider this hotel if i ever visit...

Really basic hotel in a quieter area but not too far from Tokyo Station. There is a subway station right outside the hotel. The room is small and customer service is basically nonexistent. No room cleaning. No room tag for cleaning. No amenities (coffee etc). We checked in yesterday. There was no reception until 12nn today so we weren't able to tell the front desk that we want to get our room cleaned and there is no card if we want our room to be cleaned.
