Solid ramen. Got the miso ramen.

I wouldn't say this is spectacular ramen but for the price, it's great for those who are on a budget and are trying to travel light.

The taste is on the salty side. It is a bit light on other flavors but I got a side of green onion which helped with that.

My only complaint is that the toppings are a bit light. You really only get 1-2 pieces of meat. But again, for 850 jpy (or about $5), you're still getting a lot of food.

Side note: I'm not sure why a lot of people are having trouble ordering. The couple in front of me wanted me to go first since they couldn't get the machine to work. So here are the instructions:

Put enough money into the machine first (enough to buy everything you want). Punch on the buttons that you like to order. Typically that's the bowl of ramen and then punch on the toppings buttons. Press the change button on the bottom to get your left over coins back. Grab your tickets and wait...

You will be ordering from a machine on the right when coming in. Put in money first, and then pick items you want. Take one that costs 750 (main dish), and some toppings if you like (row that costs 110 each). Collect your tickets, and turn the handle to get your change.
