Third visit to a Mimaru hotel. Great choice of hotel that is central (just behind the central business district) yet quiet and not as chaotic as Shibuya or Shinjuku. Super convenient via Airport Limousine shuttle to and fro Haneda or Narita. It’s literally opposite the hotel area. Do not need to book in advance. You can access 2 different metro lines (Hanzomon and Hibiya (grey line - might spell wrongly)) within walking distance. The rooms are spacious for 4-5 people as compared to the super small rooms in some big hotel chains. Lawson and 7-11 nearby. Laundry service available. 2.5 km walk/run to Tokyo Imperial Palace if you are serious about a workout. The blinds are not very thick so if you need to sleep in during summer, make sure you draw them down and also close the panels behind the window. Amenities are available at front desk. You can leave your luggage with them for free after you check out. Was surprised last year when the Kyoto branch charged a fee for it.

We really enjoyed our stay here a Mimaru Nihombashi Suitengumae. The staff is delightful and so helpful. Each staff member went above and be young in helping my family. Chimmey, Kido/Kota and Emily went the extra mile in what I needed for my daily trips. Silart made my welcome great. I can’t thank them enough on the exceptional job they do for their guests. Just that the entire staff is amazing. The rooms are very spacious for it being in Japan. Clean and well stocked with the amenities. They also have a washer & dryer downstairs. I definitely would stay here again and in the same location. The location was perfect for my arrival and departure being close to the CAT station. Just a 5 minute walk. It is also close to a few restaurants, a 7-eleven, and my fave Lawson. Lots of vending machines in walking distance. The other station that is also 10-15 mins walk is the Grey Line. This is one hotel apt I’d definitely recommend to people.

Overall, I liked the hotel. The room was clean and cozy, and the price, though a bit high, was reasonable for a 3-4 person stay. The location is super convenient, with a 3-minute walk to Tokyo City Air Terminal and a 2-minute walk to the Z-line train station, providing easy access to Shibuya and Asakusa. The room was clean and cozy. The only downside is that there aren't many breakfast shops in the surrounding area, especially those that serve traditional Japanese breakfast. According to the front desk staff, it takes around 30 minutes to walk to such establishments. However, for Western breakfast options, there are many within a ten-minute walk of Ningyocho. Late checkout will be charge USD$50 for 2hours. Most of the hotel will allow to give free 1 hours of late check out. 😅 I will definitely come back to stay at the same hotel if I return to Tokyo, Japan. My family love it very much.

Excellent quiet location perfect for families, tourists and business. Room has a kitchenette equipped with microwave, kitchen sink, fridge and freezer. There is a separate bathroom (shower+ sink) and another small room with a Japanese electric toilet at the front of the room. The bunks are full sized single beds. The lounge seating area has a television and dining table that comfortably seats four adults or two adults + 3 children. The main two beds have a reading light, power point (Japan) and two USB. This is very convenient for charging your phone.

The room is also equipped with bed linen, shampoo conditioner and body wash, dish soap, tissues, paper towels and fresh bath towels.

We highly recommend bringing slippers to walk around the room and leaving your shoes inside the front entrance to keep the room fresh and is Japanese custom.

There is plenty of space to store suitcases and helpful spaces to open bags.

If the wifi needs to be reset, there are instructions in the elevator but it was excellent and strong for our use.

Lawson's and 7/11 are very close and convenient. We preferred Lawson's for beer selection, Bento and sandwiches, making our dinner very relaxed and cheap (but delicious). The in room microwave and refrigerator is helpful for this.

The staff at this hotel are wonderful and assist you at every opportunity. We needed assistance a couple of times and each was met with a smile and care.

Check in process was fast and make sure your passport is available to assist the staff with the procedure. Check out was very easy and fast. The lobby includes consumables and items for hire to make your stay easier if you wish to cook in your room.

There are train stations close by making this an excellent location to visit landmarks in Tokyo but because the hotel is not in a busy crowded location you are able to have a restful night when you return.

There are 3 washing machines and 3 dryers. They take 100 yen coins. There is a 1000 yen exchange in the laundry room with a vending machine if you wish to wait with a cool drink.

In the foyer there is also foreign exchange machine and a sitting area. We used lend umbrellas which were appreciated.

We are very happy we chose Mimaru Tokyo Nihombashi Suitenguate and highly recommend this hotel for people wanting a comfortable...

Hotel from Hell – No Hot Water, No Heating, No Service||Open-air hallway, subzero in winter.||One lift, also used by staff. Long waits in the freezing hallway.||Ice-cold toilet near the front door (and the hallway). Heater is too far to warm it properly.||No basic amenities like hand soap for the kitchen, must go through the freezing hallway to reception to get.||Poorly placed table + wall sockets, have to sit in one far corner of the room to be plugged in.||Dirty and poorly maintained. Peeling wallpaper, visible dirt, black stains. Not four-star standard.||No hot water midway through stay. Couldn’t shower after a long day, lost sleep, canceled plans. They only informed me it was fixed the next evening—holiday ruined.||No contingency plan, hilariously incompetent:|- Insisted on entering room to investigate, despite it being inconvenient—I was mid-shower and in a bathrobe.|- They checked the tap, then did nothing else before leaving, promising to follow up.|- An hour later, made no progress, offered another room’s shower but refused to provide a key, insisting on escorting me.|- They lacked common sense to check if other rooms had the same issue. Had to discover myself that the entire hotel was affected.|- They left again, promising to follow up. I waited for hours through the night with no update.|- Next morning, I called and they said a repairman was arriving. They said they would follow up.|- I called again later after no updates. They said the repairman failed and another was arriving.|- In the evening, they finally told me that it was fixed—hours after the fact.|- No compensation offered.|- I asked for a refund; got a dismissive "email us and we will consider."|- They did not know English, relied on translator app that barely worked. Each sentence took a minute to translate.|- Conversations happened at my doorstep while I stood in a bathrobe, door open to the freezing hallway.||This is a two-star place at best.
