Wonderful place to stay. We stayed on the 17th floor for 4 nights and it was very quiet. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and room had coffee machine with cream and sugars, tea with electric kettle, small fridge. Bathroom has everything you might possibly need or might've forgotten to pack. Remember to put one of your key cards in the slot in your room to have power.
I asked for a softer pillow on the second night and an extra towel and they had that available for me immediately.
Every single person we encountered working there was very helpful and very nice. Most of the people working there know some English and will be able to communicate with English speakers. Google translate is also a great way to communicate. Entryway, lobby, rooms, and Lounge was spotless every single day.
Breakfast in the Lounge was great with several different options to eat, including soups, salad, eggs, choice meats, and someone cooking fresh to-order omelets. Coffee, juices, water, and beer available for breakfast. Loved the coffee machines! At night, the Lounge opened up with snacks, several alcoholic beverages that you serve yourself, and a great atmosphere to hang out and wind down for a bit. The staff in the lounge, whether it was breakfast time or evening hours, were always willing to help and were always welcoming.
Rooms are cleaned every single day and anything you use in the room is replenished and replaced every day. We opted to not have our linens changed while we stayed, but you can have your linens replaced everyday by placing a card on the bed.
In the basement level is a direct entryway to the subway station. You can exit through the hotel and through this door for entry. To get back in the hotel, there is a hotel entryway one level up and there is an elevator you can enter and scan your room key to take you directly to your floor. Very neat and easy access!
Next time we are in Japan and we find ourselves visiting this area, we will definitely be back! Highly...
Read moreThis hotel is fantastic and I would love to stay here again. If you stay on one of the executive floors you get a major perk in the form of access to the executive lounge. This space with floor to ceiling windows situated on the 20th floor hosts a breakfast service in the morning, tea service at night, and cocktail lounge in the evening. The tea service is notable for its wide variety of tea and personal little steeping kettles that you can take to your table. And then they have a variety of little sweets and sandwich sections that you can munch on at will. The real star of the show is the cocktail lounge though. Again, there's a good selection of little bites to munch on and staff will bring one specially crafted appetizer to your table as well. Then they have French Brute, a variety of red and white wines, beer, a make-your-own cocktail bar, and chilled sake for you to enjoy to your hearts content as well. The value you get out of this is absolutely phenomenal and really blows many other hotels at the same price point in Tokyo away with these extra offerings. The rooms were also very nice and I enjoyed the red and sort of rose pink hues you will find in the elevators and guest rooms. I only stayed there a couple of nights at the end of my trip but this would easily be one of my top choices the next time I am on Tokyo. The staff were also very helpful and check in/check out...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Royal Park Hotel in Tokyo, and it was an excellent experience. The room was clean and spacious, which is something you'll truly appreciate when comparing it to other hotel rooms in Tokyo, where space can often be at a premium. While the decor may appear a bit dated to some travelers, I found it to have a certain charm that added to the overall ambiance of the hotel.
The staff at the Royal Park Hotel were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. The executive lounge on the 20th floor was a haven of tranquility, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling city below. There’s no shortage of dining options, with nine restaurants and bars within the hotel itself, and plenty more to explore in the surrounding area.
For those interested in a scenic stroll, the river is just a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. In terms of accessibility, the location is quite convenient. Ningyōchō station is just a short 5-10 minute walk away, offering connections via the Hibiya Line and the Asakusa Line. Additionally, the hotel is directly connected to Suitengumae station on the Hanzōmon Line, making it easy to...
