***english version below*** Fazit: Nicht empfehlenswert, trotz guter Lage und Reinigung. ***english version*** Conclusion: Not recommended, despite good location and cleaning. Breakfast absolutely not recommended unless you love onigiri. The staff is friendly, was usually able to help with questions (e.g. 2nd duvet) and communication in English was ok with a few minor restrictions. The rooms are located around an open hallway. We were here in June (5 days), so we can't say what it's like at other times of the year. The room itself was too small for two people, it was hard to move around without being in each other's way (or the other person was in the bathroom). The furnishings were ok, but there is no closet or anything similar (only 3-4 hangers), so you have to live out of a suitcase. Fridge and TV are available, bed squeaks when moving (annoying when sleeping) and towels/trash cans are changed daily. However, the duration of the cleaning times may differ from the signs (more than 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.). The bathroom is too small for people over 1.75m - unless you like bathing. Otherwise the shower head doesn't come high enough. The equipment is ok (mug, hairdryer, shower gel/shampoo). If you forget something, you can find toothbrushes etc. downstairs in the foyer.

This hotel is well located, the hotel was comfortable. The room was also comfortable and well clean. But the guests in the next room made a lot of noise. Probably a burning night of love, they hit the wall hard, I could only sleep after a long time. The bad thing about this hotel is that the rooms must have thin walls... or the guests of March 23 next to room 911, maybe it’s their room 910 were a little disrespectful in disturbing my sleep with their moans of ... (Laughter...). Other than that everything went well !

This is one of the worse hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The size is normal for Japanese hotels as well as the layout. The bed pillow was flat and hard. The room had a musty smell and the bathroom reaked of BO. I found later the air conditioner looked like it had mold inside and bathroom had spots of mold in the shower, faucet, and around the door. To make matters worse, the front desk said I they could do luggage delivery if I drop off by 9am for delivery the following day, but they failed to tell me I had to book the service myself the day prior.

Hotel...

If you don't speak Japanese, don't book this hotel. I was working in Japan, with plans to stay at this hotel my last night there before flying out of Narita Airport. I had problems with my reservation, and wanted to make a special request.||1. I called the phone number for the hotel front desk. I was told they could not speak English, so I should send an email.||2. I sent the email with my request with my reservation number. 4 days later there was no response.||3. I went to the hotel website and saw there was a way to send a special request form form there, which I did, with my reservation number. Again, no response after another 3 days.||4. I walked to the hotel on Feb. 26, 2 days before I was planning to check in, and talked directly with a kind person at the front desk who also claimed not to speak English. I used Google Translate, told them my name, and that I would be checking in on Friday, Feb. 28, asked about how to get to the airport. They gave me a map with the options.||BUT . . . what NONE of these experiences did for me was to reveal that they had my reservation date as Feb. 26, and NOT on Feb. 28!! After 4 interactions they did not discover that my reservation was on the wrong date. Yes, I made the error. AND . . .I would have expected any competent hotel to have taken a minute to look up my reservation and alert me to this fact BEFORE it was too late!||When I tried to check in on Friday, Feb. 28 they told me my reservation was on Feb. 26, and that they could not refund my money, nor offer me a room at the hotel on Feb 28 even though there were rooms available. I could purchase a room, they offered. NO THANKS!||I went elsewhere and paid for a different hotel for that night. Worth it to be away from such poor business...

We spent a week in Osaka and decided to stay on the east side of Tokyo since we spent lots of time in Ikebukuro and Shinjuku area. This is a business hotel with many amenities from laundry to massages. The staff is so professional and helpful and the facilities are pretty modern which we liked! As a tourist a couple things held it back from a perfect which I will detail... this hotel firstly is in one of Japan's business districts and as a result everything in the neighborhood dies down in the earlier evening when people go out to Shibuya and Shinjuku. On the weekends, maybe businesses stay entirely closed. It's quite nice if you want a quiet experience where you are staying but for the adventuring types it can become a challenge finding some stuff to do. The location also gives you access to two train stations, one of which is just a block away. This line is the Hanzomon line, but Hanzomon does not run to many popular areas like Akihabara and direct transit into Shibuya. Thus, you will transfer on the trains and your commute can become long depending on the schedules. The room was really nice! A like a firm bed and if you do well you will be happy. One thing that made me sad is I like a nice hot bath after a long day, but for (reasonable) conservation and safety measures, the bath will only fill halfway with a hole draining any excess. Our shower was also a little rebellious and would get a floor quite wet. I am a big guy (6 feet) so bathing and showering was not my favorite. BUT! Everything from service to our stay was really great. I would be happy to stay here again in the future....
