If I could give this place 1000 stars I would!! I never write reviews but this time I was actually compelled to because of how wonderful this hotel is! I also want anyone reading this to have no hesitation in booking this hotel if you are still deciding or contemplating, especially if you're first time visitors to Japan like us! We reserved the 1 bedroom suite with 10 sqm balcony. This is our first hotel in Japan and our satisfaction is off the charts so they're setting a very high standard for the other hotels we will be staying at 😂 First off, perfect location and gorgeous rooms ... it's a very COZY, QUIET, CLEAN, SPACIOUS apartment type room with everything you need! This place is seriously so cute... there's a microwave, washing machine/dryer, fridge/ freezer, TV, stove top, pots and pans and utensils, toiletries (toothbrush, combs, toothpaste, cotton pads, cotton tips, razors, etc.), pajama robes, vacuum cleaner, etc. It's also super close to train stations, convenience stores, delicious restaurants, and cute shopping areas - not to mention we felt 100% safe walking around the neighborhood at night.

I mentioned earlier that something compelled me to write this review, and that is the amazing customer service! From when we first set foot in the hotel, the front desk staff have always been kind and welcoming, and extremely patient and helpful whenever we had questions! Today, I was helped by a wonderful gentleman at the front desk. He called one of our hotels for us and literally helped solve our concerns! I wanted to include his name and asked if he would mind, but he's so humble I'll respect it (.. but if any higher-ups from Hotel Monday Apart Premium Asakusa are reading this review, the gentleman working at the front desk on this morning of 9/19/24 is an absolute angel and he is the reason I wanted to write this review). I'll spare you the details but to be brief, make sure you look into luggage delivery services early if you have large suitcases and plan to mainly travel via public transit, or if you anticipate going crazy with the shopping like we did 😅 If you ever need any help arranging anything, please don't hesitate to ask the front desk like I did, they are the sweetest ☺️

Seriously, look no further than Hotel Monday Apart Premium Asakusa! We were only here for 2 nights but no one wants to leave because they love this hotel so much. Hopefully this helps in your decision making 🙂 Thank you so much for a truly wonderful experience! And thank you tk all the others that previously wrote reviews that influenced our decision to stay here. We can't wait to stay with you again when we come back to Tokyo in the future!

(Sorry I'm not great with taking photos please excuse me! It is more beautiful...

We are just completing a 10 night stay here. As our first trip to Japan as a family of four (two teenagers), I did extensive research about choosing a hotel and was worried about encountering fake reviews when doing so. This review is hopefully helpful to people like us, who want to get their hotel choice just right.

First of all, we were very happy with our choice. The apartment style hotel was very spacious, comfortable and quiet. We loved the kitchen and washer / dryer combo. We found the space to be large enough for our family. Our teenage boys had their own space in their large, adult sized bunk bed area.

The staff were excellent. They greeted us every time we were in the lobby and answered all of our questions in a kind manner.

The Asakusa area has been so much fun to explore. The hotel is within walking distance of many, many shops and great restaurants. It was a pleasure to walk the short distance to Sensoji temple. The subway station was less than a 10 minute walk and allowed us to easily access most areas of Tokyo that we wanted to see. It was also easy to get to our hotel from Narita using the Kesei Skyliner to Ueno Kesei station, then one short 5 minute subway ride on the Ginza line to Tawaramachi station, followed by a short walk.

We found the hotel to be peaceful and in a quiet neighborhood. We did not have noise concerns from neighbors or street noise. The beds were somewhat firm, yet still comfortable (I understand that is generally the trend here in Japan). I generally prefer a really soft mattress, but I did not have problems sleeping here. It took us a little bit to figure out the washer / dryer system, but it wasn’t too difficult.

So, in summary, spacious rooms, quiet, great neighborhood and very pleasant staff. We would absolutely stay here again and found it to be great value for our money.

Hope this helps you. Thanks Monday Apart Premium Asakusa, we really...

TLDR: 1) Nice location, well connected. 2) Big rooms with laundry which is extremely helpful when traveling with kids. 3) Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Deli&Bar One Love which is only 3 min walk is an AMAZING little restaurant serving the best pasta in the city.

Hotel Monday Apart Premium Asakusa is an ideal choice for those looking for a comfortable, well-connected, and quieter base in Tokyo. Located close to several train stations, it provides easy access to anywhere within Tokyo city, although it’s a bit farther from the bustling areas of Shibuya and Shinjuku—around a 40-50 minute train ride. This distance actually works in its favor, as the stations nearby are far less crowded, making it easier to catch a train compared to the high-traffic stations like Shinjuku.

The area around the hotel is vibrant and full of amenities. There are numerous cafes and restaurants within a short walk, as well as a massive Uniqlo store and Don Quijote only five minutes away. The iconic Sensoji Temple is just a 7-8 minute walk, and you can reach the Tokyo Skytree with a 20-25 minute stroll.

The hotel staff is wonderful—very helpful, and their service was top-notch. Our room was spacious and stocked with all the essentials we needed. As well, having a washer in the room was incredibly convenient. 7-Eleven just a 3 minute walk away was perfect for grabbing breakfast, coffee, and snacks. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice for families or anyone wanting a convenient...

I stayed here with my family (husband and adult daughter) for 4 nights. This was my first trip to Japan. This was the perfect place for us, both the hotel and the neighborhood. The location was very convenient, with a close walk to groceries, shops, restaurants and transportation. The neighborhood was very quiet, which I appreciated. The staff was helpful checking us in, answering questions, and holding our luggage while we toured on the last day of our visit. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite which was roomy and comfortable. In cooler weather, the balcony would be lovely - it was in the 90's and humid during our visit. The kitchenette had what we needed to fix a simple breakfast and to pack some lunch. One of our party must eat gluten free and getting a space with a kitchenette was helpful in preparing GF food. The AC worked, the blackout window coverings helped with sleep and the beds were firm, but comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, water hot with good water pressure. There was a small entryway with storage for your shoes as you came in. They even provided slippers and robes for each guest. Thank you Monday Apart Asakusa for being our hosts for our first trip to Japan.

We loved this hotel so much. Highly recommend. Great location. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Maybe a five minute walk to Tawamarachi subway stop and 10-20 minute walk (depending on how many people are out, with or without luggage) to Asakusa metro stop. Very helpful, kind, and patient (we were with a one and three year old, who were sleep deprived and active) front desk staff. Very kid friendly (gave our children ponchos for the rain, toys when they were crying in the reception area, and a welcome kids' hygiene kit when we checked in) . Games available to borrow. Umbrellas to borrow. Rooms are so spacious. Kitchen is spacious. Bar to sit at or large table. Couches. Balcony. Combo washer dryer in room. Bathtub and shower. Separate bedroom with its own door, which worked out well for us with two kids on two different nap schedules and wake up times. We would definitely stay here again.
