I am a repeat guest for this hotel and I rarely provide reviews or feedbacks for my hotel stays. Given the price, location, ambience and the great hospitality provided by the the hotel manager Rita and team. I will highly recommend this hotel for visitors.
Though there are some flaws regarding prejudice and discriminating services on the breakfast counter, where I have described below.
In comparison with my previous visit last year. This year the hotel has improved further services for their guest by providing free high tea with local deserts, drinks in the evening, movie screening with free snacks and ice creams. I can honestly state that many other competitors with a higher price tag do not go for such far length for services.
I intended to provide a five star review however, due to the unpleasant services I have received from the breakfast counter I have to reduce the rating.
The personnel that is involved I believe is named as Benny with Filipino accent that wears full black outfit with a ponytail. I have noted her presence since my first visit on 2016 though not very pleasant but I decided to forget about it.
On the second visit, I noticed she still provides double standard of services for oriental/Asian looks guest and western looks guest.
Benny will personally serve western guest and greet them which absolutely fair, however whenever an oriental guest enters, she will not entertain or greet them. After repeated visits observations.
The first unpleasant incident occured, whenever I requested for a juice or drink with her that is not served at the counter, Benny will either say is served on the counter or look away from me and say "no we do not have" in a rude tone.
The second incident is intolerable, when I just reached the breakfast table and have put my bags. Benny while serving a western guest came to me and said this "could you please move to another table!, my guest had just taken this table" where obviously he had not chose his seat as he is alone and still taking his food with plenty of other seats around him. The event eventually lead to my mother and I left the breakfast counter to have breakfast elsewhere.
I cannot understand why Benny provides such prejudice and discriminating services for oriental/Asian guest. I sincerely hope the management of hotel look into this issue. Or else I prefer my repeat visit provides a rate without breakfast.
Overall I still recommend to my peers your hotel for the extraordinary services provided by Raj whom cleaned my wound when I fell down, May recommending food and places of interest patiently and last but not least Rita for leading the team:) May my review provides an improvement suggestion for the hotel and fair...

We wanted to drop off our bikes for safekeeping before heading out to do some shopping and sightseeing. The Indian service staff, a male guy with a little bit of curly hair, kindly offered to carry our bikes to the room. We greatly appreciated his help!
After a fun day of exploring, we returned to the hotel and checked in. Upon entering our room, we discovered that the air conditioning was faulty and blowing hot air. We informed the hotel staff, and they swiftly offered us a complimentary upgrade to a superior room, which was more spacious and comfortable. It was a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more enjoyable.
The room was clean, tidy, and had a nice renovated outlook. We were pleased to find that the hotel's central location in the heart of Georgetown, near Kimberley Street and Chulia Street, made it convenient for us to explore the area.
During our stay, we encountered exceptional service. A memorable incident occurred when I accidentally dropped my door card into the lift while approaching it. The staff at the service counter, a lady staff, promptly programmed a new card for me at no extra cost, ensuring our convenience. We regretted not managing to get their names, but their assistance and hospitality were truly appreciated.
Overall, we would highly recommend Le Dream Boutique Hotel due to the top-notch service, excellent room quality, and strategic location. It truly made our trip to Penang extra special.
Additionally, we would highly recommend this hotel because of the service provided and the room is clean and tidy with a nice renovated outlook. Most importantly, this hotel is in the heart of Georgetown near to Kimberley Street and Chulia Street. The helpful and friendly service staff, both the male staff who carried our bikes and the female staff who assisted with the door card issue, added to the positive experience of our stay. Their exceptional service and dedication made our stay memorable. It's always the small gestures and personal touches that make a difference in a...

Dear admin: I have an issue with what I’m sure is lying at your hotel by staff.
I’m confident you weren’t fully booked out except for 2 spare rooms when I arrived, and also I’m confident you weren’t booked out of every room when I was leaving: you had stated that I can’t have a checkout at 1pm because someone was checking in to the exact room I was in… I don’t think you would treat your rooms differently and assign strictly each Booking to each specific room when they’re the same… also, if it was the case someone was checking in to the exact room I was staying in, and it couldn’t be changed (for some mysterious reason), why then wasn’t I notified of the item I had left behind in my room, which the cleaner would have picked up? If the room was to be clean before the new guest checked in at 3pm, the item should’ve been found and reported to me, I had left at 2:38pm the lobby and no one told me about my missing rubber red ball I had left behind (and some large stretchy rubber bands for exercise). I would say my room hadn’t been cleaned and someone wasn’t needing to check in to that exact room, rather than the cleaner or company withheld my items for their self.
You should just say you don’t want to allow for a room change and/or you don’t want to allow for a later checkout. And if you’re telling the truth that you were fully booked out for the kind of room I was in, for someone checking in at 3pm, you should explain why you didn’t notify me of the items I had...
