FKI International Hotel — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

When I arrived i was welcomed with smell of cigar smoke. Reception is ok. One staff is more polite than the other. Easy check in despite me arriving 4 in the morning. The room felt like somebody just finished smoking. The sheets doesn't look very clean. Ac works okey but needs cleaning sounds like its filled with sludge already. First night wasnt comfortable. Felt better after having the room serviced while i was away. but hey i booked this just to have a place to sleep and leave the room all day long. If you intend to spend time in the room as part of your vacation this is not for you. If you want to have a room just to sleep during the night then this might work for you. Very near to nice places. The good- Location. 5 minutes walk to Pavilion, and Jalan Alor is just below the hotel They provide water dispenser, which is great. The staff here are very friendly and are willing to help, they help me to Fix with the faulty aircond at the middle of the night, so that’s awesome customer service right there

The Bad- Room is small so it’s not suitable for group trips.. or long term stay..short term ok Noise pollution. Bikers are quite active here at night and you can hear noises even at 2pm! So if you are a light sleeper, please beware of this. WiFi & internet. The hotel WiFi connectivity here is bad, as well as my data telcom service, not sure why, I’m using digi, but usually is one...

The sheets have red stains on them we don't know where from.

The hotel is located on the 3rd level - you have to walk up 1 flight of stairs to gain access to a run-down elevator that has no service maintenance records in sight. Then ride the elevator up.

The rooms are very dirty. Also to note, this area is not safe for female travelers. There's a lot of creepy individuals loitering at night and it's very dark. The rooms have a loose doorknob. That's all...
