I stayed at the Hotel Venice in Kuala Lumpur for four weeks (30 days) and I was very impressed by the service, the facilities, and the location. The Deluxe room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The bathroom was luxurious, with a separate shower, and a range of toiletries. The bed was very cozy and the pillows were fluffy.
The hotel has very close to chinese, malaysian, and western dining options, including several popular chinese restaurant that serves authentic and delicious dishes. The staff were very attentive and friendly, especially the chief concierge Mr Syed, and they always greeted me with a smile. They also helped me with booking tours, arranging transportation, and giving recommendations.
The location of the hotel is very convenient, as it is within walking distance to the Berjaya Times Square, and the LaLaport shopping mall and other nearby shopping centres. There are also many restaurants, bars, and attractions nearby. My favourite discovery is ICC Pudu food court with many delicious and very affordable chinese, malaysia, and Indian dishes/ all within a 5min walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is also connected to the Times Square Imbi Monorail and Pudu LRT stations, which makes it easy to get around the city.
This being my 2nd time long term stay.. overall, I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Venice in Kuala Lumpur and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury hotel in the city. It is definitely worth the price and is now my go to hotel in...
Read moreI recently stayed at Hotel Venice and had a mixed experience. The rooms were quite decent — clean, well-furnished, and maintained to a good standard. The bed was comfortable, and the overall ambiance of the room was pleasant. However, I feel there’s still room for improvement in terms of lighting and ventilation.
The location of the hotel is one of its strong points. It’s situated in a relatively quiet area with decent access to nearby markets and transport options. Getting around wasn’t too difficult, and the surroundings felt safe and secure.
Where the hotel really needs to improve is in service. I found the staff to be a bit unresponsive and at times inattentive. Requests for room service or basic assistance took longer than expected. A more professional and prompt approach from the staff would really elevate the overall experience.
For a short stay, especially if you're mainly looking for a clean place to rest in a decent location, Hotel Venice can be a good option. However, if you’re expecting top-notch service or a more luxurious experience, you might find it a bit lacking.
With some improvements in staff training and customer service, this hotel could become a much better choice. For now, I’d give it 3 out of 5...
Read moreTHIS IS THE WORST HOTEL I EVER BOOKED. I checked in at midnight and i saw they posted at the lobby that - there is no refund after check in - i never seen a hotel post something like this at their reception table. And after i came inside the room, i finally understand why they show it. First of all, the room don’t even look like the photos. I book a deluxe room with a big window in the end they give me a room that don’t even can walk easily. Super tiny, with 2 small windows that i couldn’t open. The room was so dirty. Inside the wardrobe, lot of trash . The floor and the furniture was super dusty. And lot of insects. Ants, spiders webs on the walls… it’s everywhere. Last but not least…. Look at the toilet bowl…. It’s so disgusting. I contacted trip services. And there was nothing helpful here. They declined my request to cancel my stay. But the staff in the morning promised to change me another better room. When i go back and tell the receptionist in the evening, he just told me all fully booked. And not even apologize for it. His attitude was so impolite. This is my worst...
