This tropical-themed Bak Kut Teh spot is tucked away in a basement, got that mysterious hidden gem vibe. There's also a little photo corner for customers to snap some photos. The dining area is comfy, clean, and the service is pretty good too. They’ll serve you a small cup of Bak Kut Teh and Malay Herbal Chicken Soup to try before you order, and the tea is free! Bak Kut Teh here has lighter taste, not too strong and not too bland, it's perfect for those who don’t like super heavy flavors, and it's a good match with the Cakoi. The Malay Herbal Chicken Soup has a stronger herbal taste, super fragrant. If you're into heavier flavors, the Dried Bak Kut Teh is the one I personally recommend, it's spicy, flavourful, and got that bit of cuttlefish taste. It comes with scallion oil rice which is super fragrant, and don’t skip their house-made sauces, they really elevate the whole meal. Another must-try here is the Black Vinegar Pork Trotters, I usually don’t like it too sour, but theirs is just nice because balanced and tasty. I also tried the Fresh Mushroom & Broccoli, simple but tasty. If you drop a Google review for them and you'll get FREE Fried Durian, it's crispy outside and...

Stumbled upon this hidden gem in Pudu – Tropical Bak Kut Teh – and I was honestly impressed! The moment you walk in, it feels like a tropical rainforest. The environment is spacious, relaxing, and super unique.

What makes it stand out? You can taste the soup before ordering – such a thoughtful idea! The herbal soup is light but flavorful, the dry version is rich and aromatic, and the meats are fresh with zero porky smell. We also loved the vinegar pork trotters, fermented red bean curd fried pork, and stir-fried dragon chives – all delicious and well-cooked.

Plus, free tea with plenty of choices, and upstairs they even sell soup packs to bring home! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a refreshing twist on traditional...

Truly delicious Bak Kut Teh! The herbal soup was rich and full-bodied, just the way it should be, with deep flavors that warmed the soul. The pork was braised till perfectly tender, absorbing all the goodness of the broth. I especially enjoyed dipping the crispy you tiao into the soup—it soaked up the flavors beautifully and added a nice crunch. Service was friendly and very efficient, with staff always smiling and attentive. The whole experience felt like a comforting home-cooked meal. Definitely a place I would return to and recommend to friends who love traditional...

Both the Bak Kut Teh and the chicken soup were absolutely delicious! Before the meal, each guest is served a small tasting cup of different teas and soups, so you can choose your favourite — such a thoughtful touch. There’s also complimentary Chinese tea, with plenty of options for tea lovers to enjoy. I highly recommend trying their Nam Yue Fried Pork (deep-fried pork marinated with fermented red bean curd) and prawn toast — both are crispy, flavourful and perfectly cooked. A wonderful place for anyone who loves good soup and good tea!
