It was an unpleasant stay in the hotel, the service and experience did not seem meet the 4 stars hotel standard: The room only provides 2 bath towels. Additional towel is chargeable at RM 10 even if stay in executive suite. The towel at swimming pool is limited to 2 towels per room, additional towel is not allowed. However we saw some people from single room were having more than 2 towels. Wondering how they got it. Small pool and limited chairs for guests at pool side. Pool maintenance requires improvement. Super slow lift performance especially during peak hours and lift capacity is small. Guests usually wasting time to wait for lift. Poor control on hotel access security. Hotel is connected to a mall but no access control at the lift entrance, we found we didn’t even need to flash our hotel card at the reader before access to our room floor. Poor control of hotel room card access and parking validation. We cannot get in to our room the next day after a tired day trip as room card malfunction. Again we need wait for slow serviced lift to get card repaired at lobby counter. Poor car parking validation. After room card incident, the next thing we found we were charged for parking fee of total parking fee of RM 30. Again we had to waste time get down to the lobby counter with the slow lift. Executive suite design doesn’t meet the so called luxury standard. Room design a bit dull and run down. Small countertop basin in bathroom, can’t put the toiletries pouch on it. No hand towel hanger next to the basin as well. We were told by hotel staffs that the mini bar food and drink are complimentary in executive room. However we found the so called mini bar only provides tea and coffee like the common hotel room. Aren’t these are complimentary to all guests all the time? What is the privilege services provided in the suite?
The good things are: Room service is quite satisfactory Mattress is comfortable Room is clean.

This hotel disregards your safety & well-being.
I booked 2 rooms, one for my parents and another for my sis and me. On first look, it looked great. Dim lighting with comfy beds. However after a closer look, we realized the bed frame was very dirty, filled with mold & stains, obviously not wiped. Both beds and the pillows that came with it were stained as well. We immediately requested a change of sheets which came after an hour, and that was okay with us.
Service took forever during this stay. The TV was not working so we called the operator and there was no answer. We just gave up and googled how to tune it ourselves. The toilet clogged up and we called the operator again. Housekeeping came an hour later to inform us that she couldn't fix it & told us to call the operator and ask maintenance to come and take a look. My parents had to use our room to shower instead as Maintenance took another hour to come and fix the clog, and again this was okay with us.
The last straw was when my father (in his 60s) fell upon stepping into his room as there was an aircon leakage right at the room entrance causing the floor to flood. He had a bad fall and immediately called me over to help him. I was really done with the hotel at this point and I called the operator. There was no answer the first few times and when there was an answer, I explained the situation to the operator. I was flustered and told her to get maintenance to come over and fix the leakage, and I told her my father fell because of that. Guess what the operator replied? "I will inform maintenance to go over now, thank you" and she hung up even before I completed my sentence. It is extremely rude and uncalled for with no regard for their guests' safety. No apologies, nothing.
There are also random nails in the toilet which were really dangerous.
Overall, this stay and the service we got were terrible. Don't book unless you want it to...

PRO: Friendly staff, good location, room design is nice, water pressure and hot water is very good, nice pool and amazing sky garden, terrace garden is so huge like a ballroom, AWESOME breakfast with various of choices and yummy! Especially the curry chicken!
CON: Room is beautiful. However, because the hotel is old, it need a serious deep clean. The bathroom is full of molds on the grout lines, leaking damp ceiling, dirty spots on the wall and bed head, no hand towel provided, toilet bowl keep running water, bathtub water took forever to spill because the stopper is loosen, cabinet were spoiled, bidet supposed to swap place with the toilet roll, rusted mirror and dirty gyms.
Additional: Complimentary carpark at level 7 & 8 need to repaint the font and the wall. Both should be contrast since there are four lifts entry for The Shore Mall and the residence and also Shore Hotel. The lift is very terrible too. It is too slow.
There is 99 speedmart within 5 minutes walk and a empty mall easily connected via level 1 & 2.
*Pool and gym is sharing with The Shore Hotel and residence.
I think this is still a very good hotel overall in term of the design and amenities. If you can invest some money to hire people for a deep cleaning and re-grout those tiles in bathroom, clean those spots and it will confirm attract more guest. And also hope The Management and housekeeping can take note on this.
