I recently visited Rockbottom Melaka and had an outstanding dining experience that I just have to share. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and made to feel right at home. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the briyani. Hats off to Chef Ghanshyam for crafting such an amazing dish! It was bursting with flavor, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to their craft. In addition to the fantastic food, I must commend the entire crew for their exceptional service. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. This restaurant bar is situated on the ground floor of the Shore shopping complex. Free parking readily available upstairs. The upbeat and modern setup of the restaurant compliments well with the oldies music videos played in premise. There's even a dedicated sports TV channel if you want to catch some soccer or cricket. Staff here is attentive and friendly, they will cater to your every need. It's Ladies Night on Thursday, so ladies will get 3 choices of freeflow cocktail/wine till 12am. The food and beverage menu here is quite vast, you can find it difficult to choose what you want. I highly recommend the Northern Indian dishes especially butter chicken with butter naan, it's the best definitely. Coupled with the tangy and creamy gravy, the naan really stands out like its the star here. The briyanis are another speciality here, the rice is not dry and it is very flavourful. The food was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend the charcoal grilled chicken to be a little "overcooked" for more delicious charcoal based flavor. The Palak Paneer (not pictured) had a dreamily creamy and soothing texture, the lamb curry was the absolute perfect level of spice and combination of coriander based flavor and the Tikka Masala featured amazingly tender chicken. The service was both very helpful and nonchalant, professional and friendly as well as patient, with kind recommendations by the manager as he guided us through our order. At some point, the music was turned up too loud for a conversation to continue at normal speaking volume but this got noticed and fixed very quickly by the manager.
