The place was choseen couse was the cheapest available in the time i was there. The breakfast was okey and the location is very close to every place around.||||In the other hand, i dont recomend anybody to go there. I had the worst experience in life after travelling a lot in asia, i found the ruddes reception staff ever. She was nice when everything was okey but when i told her i been stolen in the place she just said that it was my fault not trying to solve the problem and being so arrogant.||||Words like "You have the problem you are foreigner, im malasyan so i know the police" , "you are poor and you want me to pay you a new shoes becouse yours were so old"....||||I was stolen my shoes (a original NB but i didnt care about that... i just ask for help becouse i wanted hikke and i didnt have other shoes on the side of a flipflops...). The owner by phone offer me to buy a shoes so i could continue with the plan, thanks to him... if was the decition of the girl..... The owner asked me if was okay with 100MYR and i bought the shoes (cheapest ones couse with the budget) and i brought the bill to certify i spent the money.... the bill was 97 something... she asked me for the 2.something change becouse she didnt have exact... WTF 2. something?? just umpolite and rude.... i dindt care.... but is just bad manners for that person.||||Ive never have a problem like that before, she even call me bloddy words.... and stuff... BE CAREFULL WITH THAT WOMAN IF...
Read moreHi just spent three nights here, had a double bed with share facilities. The guesthouse is clean / comfortable however the place is looking old and tried, could do with a little modernising brightening up. However that would put the price up so on balance you get very good accommodation for a very reasonable cost. ||Everyone is extremely helpful and knowledgeable on what is available to do in the area. Tickets for tours and bus for onward travel are available through the guesthouse. ||The breakfast menu is not fancy and again at a very good price. ||The location is great, not far from the bus station approx 10 mins at the most and easy to access restaurants etc in the evening.||There are approximately 14 treks / trails you can follow very easily through various parts of the rainforest. Please dress appropriately minimum jeans, top and a good pair of trainers coupled with a reasonable level of fitness, as some trails climb up by about 500 meters the views are breathtaking. Stay and enjoy.||I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again when I visit area...
Read moreWe did a prospection on this place but were utterly disappointed. At check-in the money was collected and that was it. No information was given at all. Can't say the receptionist was unfriendly, but just careless and uninterested. The dorm (4bed mixed) was very small and had no window and was very smelly. The beds are all touching eachother, that's how cramped it was. The overall state of the dorm, bathrooms and the building is not good and not particulary clean. Just a complete lack of care. It is very clear that these people ONLY care about the money and not about the travellers. Lamps missing, toilet seats broken, no clothing hooks in bathroom, dirty sheets and walls, a tv from the 80's in the 'lounge'. I asked for towels , but they do NOT provide this or have it available for rent. Because the lounge is so small, there is no real travellers vibe or anything. Because of the cold at night we were unable to sleep, no staff available at night to ask for an extra blanket. Toilet paper not available half...
