I've come here two consecutive day last week for breakfast and lunch with my mom. Found this cafe on Google Maps & it was lovely. Staff really friendly, helpful and cheerful. They would greet everyone that come & always smiling making us feel very cosy and comfortable. This cafe runs by Muslim family and everything they serve are Halal. They accept QRPayment, Card and Cash. I notice that all pricing in the menu are even numbers, definitely useful for foreigners so they doesn't have to keep coins. We bought their tomato, it was so sweet and juicy. I don't even like tomato but this is exceptional. Do buy their tomatoes if available, highly recommend!

Here's my review on what we order. Mocha & Caramel Macchiato- very tasty and delicious. My mom very particular with coffee so coffee from here is "Mama Approve". Comes with biscuit to enjoy. Hot chocolate with marshmallows- not my liking bcs it is too sweet for me Orange & Apple juice- It was from the box but I never seen the brand in supermarket before maybe they order specially? It was good, not very sweet. Croissant (with butter&jam)- flaky, buttery just how I like it! Farmer's meal- Our favourite! So delicious and very filling, eggs cook to perfection. This meal is the reason why we come here again. Balsamico Salad- We never had balsamic dressing salad, so we order to try out. Not our favourite. But very fresh vegetables, also they serve their delicious tomato in this salad. Mushroom soup & garlic bread - Not the best, need more improvement. Taste more cream that mushroom. Bread was ok, but too little garlic? Pesto Pasta- Dislike, very jelak, pasta a...

Amsterdam Café in Tanah Rata is a charming spot that offers a delightful experience with great food and a relaxing atmosphere. Their scones are nice, buttery, and served with just the right amount of jam, butter and cream. Pair them with a cup of their fragrant tea, and you have the perfect treat for a cool Cameron Highlands afternoon. The fries are another standout—crispy, golden, and seasoned just right, making them a satisfying snack.

Beyond the food, the service here is warm and welcoming, with friendly staff who make sure you're well taken care of. For the best experience, sit outside the café, where you can enjoy the sight of beautiful flowers and the soothing scent of lavender in the air. It’s the perfect place to unwind and soak in the highland charm.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy café with delicious treats and a...

This place seems to be on the verge of going out of business. The two kids working the counter weren't friendly and couldn't clearly communicate the options for iced teas. We ended up ordering hot teas. We planned to sit and get some work done on our laptop. After paying and being served we found out their wifi is "broken". This is unacceptable for a coffee shop, as a previous review indicates it has been "broken" due to not paying their bill, and that review was six months ago, so this appears to be a chronic problem. The pastry display case was mostly empty as visible in the photo attached to this review. The teas we were served were basic grocery store tea. We are in a tea region so we had been hoping for local teas. The coffee shop we went to after this one served local teas for the same price as Capitale Coffee and had...
