Restoran Nasi Kandar Shaaz — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

Poor hospitality and the staff are unfriendly!!

There wasn't many people, only 2-3 customers queueing for Nasi Kandar, including me. I request for nasi kandar + kuah campur. but when it's served, the kuah is too little, so I request for some more.. Suddenly he replied 'sudah campur semua'.. but I still want extra. so I asked him to add some more.. He did. He took my plate and add some but rushingly.

Then I walk away to find a table and started eating. Unluckily, I've been waited for more than 30 minutes for drinks.. the case here is, no one came to take order. I called them for few times again and again but no one turn up!

At last, I've to grab the drinks by myself. I grab a can of coke and a glass of ice at the drink station while eating, I left my foods on the table, luckily no one clear the table. The food is spicy so I can't continue eating without drinks. I've to get something, by myself!

Ironically, not even a minute after I returned to my table, someone came to record the drink in my bill, very efficient in billings. He did asking for something but I don't know what. Obviously I can't reply him because I'm not listening and I am so mad with their poor hospitality.

I think they should place in a signboard to notify customers that everything is self-service! Grab by yourself!!

I absolutely love that they adopted the robot service crew like some of the other Mamak chains out there. It's fun to watch how the robot react when there are obstacles or how they will wait in line for their turn to pickup/ serve.

Nevertheless, I ordered Roti Double Cheese, and I was truly disappointed as they were using the sandwich cheddar cheese (square ones), unlike the other Mamak chains, where they'll use Shredded Mozarella + Cheddar. The texture and appearance are unappetising. The taste is also a letdown as it lacks fluffiness and flavour. Felt more like a flat burnt toast. And the Teh Tarik was tasteless. It was super watered down, like drinking coloured water.

Having the robot was a gimmick, and it's a good to have. But we think they should put their efforts into improving their food...
