The Brew House @ Sunway Lagoon Hotel — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

Such an unpleasant and embarrassing lunch experience today in Brew House Sunway Pyramid!!!

If I can select negative stars, that will be my choice.

As regulars, we always organize Happy Hours and meetings in Brew House Sunway Pyramid.

Today, after our lunch, when we called for bill, one of the waiter (thin guy) accused us of NOT PAYING the previous bill dated 13 December 2021.

He kept pointing to me saying he recognized me and accusing us that we left without paying. I took a look at the bill and I've never ordered Lobak nor Nachos ever in Brew House.

We repeatedly said is not us. He must have made a mistake and he insisted that is us and he repeatedly said he remembered me sitting over at that table, whereby we have never sat at that table before.

We asked for CCTV proof, which they do not have. If you dont have proof and you kept accusing us, and we kept repeating that is not us, then why don't we make a police report?

We asked for the manager and he will only be in at 2pm.. We are not going to waste time and sit there waiting for him to arrive.

The manager just informed the staff that if we said is not us, then just let us go. What does this mean? Are you saying that since we dont want to pay for the previous bill, then let it be?

The manager didnt even call us to apologize on behalf of his staff unbelievable rude behavior. We had to call the manager ourselves.

The manager didnt even offer to pick up the tab.

We paid for the bill and left.

Conclusion: Unpleasant, embarrassed, being accused yet still need to pay for our meal. Spoilt the day!!!!

It will be our last time dining at Brew House...

This is my first time writing review. Went there during lunch time. After finish my food, I sit there for a while approximately 30 minutes. There is no lunch crowd and we did not hog the space for too long. I've always had a great experience at Brew house but the management should train their staff more. It's understandable they might be too tired and the restaurant just open. We ask the staff to order but he keep wandering around, touch the menu, touch the spoon, don't know what's he doing then finally he came to take order. Still understandable. After finish eating, a staff keep approached our table to collect our plate. Ok it's understandable and here's only me in the ehole restaurant. I ordered a lunch set which is delicious but portion is small compared before. After 5 minutes, a staff keep wandering beside our table and it seems he/she want us to leave so I look around the surrounding and there are only 3 group of customers. I feel weird but I ignore it. Then he make eye contact with me with an extremely rude facial expression and I don't get it why he is behaving like this. I'm shocked that I never get chase by a restaurant staff to a point that I feel uncomfortable. Hope Brew House management can improve this issue. I am so disappointed with the service and I don't expect much but just basic manners to...

Overall - Bar cum restaurant serving all types of food ranging from western to oriental, chill dining environment, plenty of seating capacity, great service, great place to have gathering especially happy hours or birthday, offers dine-in and takeaway option, offer plenty of food choices like pork chop, chicken chop, braised pork with rice, pasta, chips, drinks, cocktails and many more from The Brew House @ Sunway Clio
2. grilled chicken chop with coleslaw and fries lunch set comes with soup, drinks and mini cornetto - RM17 - value for money, generous portion of chicken chop, coleslaw and fries, tasted alright, coleslaw was creamy tho, fries were good
3. braised pork with rice - extremely flavourful aka salty, braised pork was tender and flavouful, loved the combo of all ingredients, generous in sauce, made the rice soaked with dark sauces
4. thai style fish fillet with rice - tasted alright, loved the fried egg with runny yolk
5. mapo tofu with rice - nothing like mapo tofu, tasted the preservative bean and it was salty, do not recommend
