The staff at the hotel are incredibly kind. The rooms are basic, do not have air conditioning and are an "open-air" hotel. What I mean by that is all of the windows are only covered by a screen; there are no windows to close them, so it is loud. The hotel is clean and very cute, with a fantastic location. The only reason why I gave this hotel "poor" in this review is because of the nightclub next door. Reggae music blared until just after 02:00 am. It literally felt like we were lying on top of the speaker in the club. If you are on the second level of this hotel, you will most likely get no sleep until after 02:00 am. Even if you are wearing earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones - the music is too loud. Two people in our party slept on the main level towards the back of the hotel, and one of the two said they didn't hear anything. So maybe that's a pro tip at this hotel, ask for a room in the back. The other individual staying in that room said they did hear it. Great price, clean, awesome location, incredibly nice staff, and terrible, loud music...
Read moreOn my last day there something awful happened. Some of my personal belongings were stolen by my roommate. The hostel reception was informed but did nothing to help me. They did not call the police nor checked the thief belongings. They had moved him in another room during the night, trying to make him look like he had checked out. I recognized the guy, he was sleeping in the depo room. What was the reason for a room change in nighttime if he had not stole my stuff and needed to hide?
Not recommended. Stay away...
