The relaxed atmosphere they have created on their website is a stark contrast to the noisy misery we have found ourselves in. There is a kind of division in guests: on the one hand, the guests who stay in the overpriced hotel because they can recreate naked throughout the hotel, and on the other hand, the ordinary people who are attracted by the terribly loud music that plays from two o'clock in the afternoon and echoes through the hotel until 11 o'clock at night. ||||It is very clear that the hotel wants to make money from the day guests who spend the whole day (often in swimwear) getting drunk in the pool with loud house music - and if you are unlucky the receptionist will be shouting into the microphone for hours because she thinks that she's an MC. Ordinary beer drinking games and run-down “sexy” dance competitions are played with the day guests to entertain them. ||||But you don't see the guests who pay a lot of money to stay in the hotel: they flee from the hotel all day or lie on their terrace with noise-canceling headphones. It is really rude and incomprehensible how you really dont care at all about to your paying hotel guests and let them sit in the noise all day until 11 o'clock. Taking a nap in your room during the day is impossible, because the music is so loud that it permeates the room and earplugs don't help with that.||||The food in the restaurant takes forever and when you get the bill after mediocre service, you are also half forced to choose from the percentage tip: as if you have no choice. ||||The WiFi is really terrible, so for important things I went to the cafe around the corner, because you can't get any further than sending a text message. ||||We had booked a “suite”, but the definition of a suite is two separate spaces: living and sleeping. but this was an outdated room without a sitting room or sitting facilities: the bed is made of wooden planks, tufts of dust under the bed, no decent curtains (so woke up early due to the sun), an open bathroom/toilet so all odors directly in the bedroom, overdue maintenance and windows whose rebate still needed to be finished. ||||Far from a suite and absolutely not worth the €190 per night! my advice to this hotel: focus on what you started this hotel for: a place where nudists and naturists can enjoy their holidays freely. It is now a big vulgar disgusting fair that has nothing to do with nudism at all! Really a shame for such a...
Read moreI don’t usually write bad reviews, but in this case, I feel it’s necessary to share my experience.
We found the listing through Booking.com for 2,800 MXN, but when we mentioned we had pets, they asked us to check in in person. Once there, they unexpectedly increased the price to 3,500 MXN, with the argument that no other rooms were available. However, the hotel was practically empty, and the offer was still active on Booking. Despite this, we decided to stay.
The room did not justify the price: the finishes were poorly maintained, the TV had exposed cables, and overall, it felt neglected. While the location is good, there are far better options in Zipolite for the same price or even less.
At check-out, they withheld the pet deposit (1,000 MXN per dog), something I had suspected from the beginning since they were unclear about it. They claimed the dogs had gotten on the bed (which they hadn’t) and that there was an excessive amount of hair, despite one of them being a Xoloizcuintle and both sleeping in their crate. To avoid conflict, I chose not to argue.
In total, we spent 5,500 MXN for one night in a room that wasn’t worth it. If you’re looking for a good stay in Zipolite, there are definitely much better...
Read moreMy wife and I just got back from Zipolite, where we spent ten days at Hotel Nude—and honestly, it was perfect. This was our third time there. The place sits right on the sand, so the ocean was our soundtrack from morning to night. The staff couldn’t have been better—beyond courteous, helpful, and polite the whole way through. The rooms were fantastic, spotless, and comfortable, which made it easy to settle into vacation mode right away.||And here’s the best part: we spent the entire trip completely naked and loved it. The whole vibe there is so relaxed and natural, it never felt strange—if anything, it felt freeing. We’d wander down the beach to little cafés and restaurants, still naked, and no one blinked. It’s just the way Zipolite is: open, easy, and welcoming.||Most days we rotated between the pool, hammocks, and the surf, with fresh seafood and mezcal cocktails filling in the gaps. At night, the beach club came alive with music and laughter under the stars. Every sunset was a showstopper—everyone would pause just to watch the sky go gold and red before fading to purple.||Ten days of that, and we were in absolute heaven. I swear, you’d love it there as...
