Sabor a Mar Zipolite & ATM — Restaurant in Oaxaca

We arrived a Sunday night and it was empty, we doubted of coming in even though we saw the amazing reviews, finally we did, and we were surprised that the whole team was super young, so we didn’t expect much. In the end, it was AMAZING, super flavorful, fresh and overall a great composition, we had the black aguachile, it was hella spicy even though we had a reduced spice one (we are Mexican so we eat spice well), a tuna tostada and a fish a la talla (with chipotle mayo) and OH GOD how good it was all! Everything tastes super fresh, and particularly the grilled shrimp are amazingly good - long time I haven't eaten such yummy shrimp!! Mixed black Aguachile was also amazing, as well as the tuna tostadas. Portions are VERY generous (we're heavy eaters and with 1 starter + 2 mains it was too much) and the amounts of avocado you get is incredible too. Loved it and and will come back! Service is friendly and fast, and the atmosphere is lovely with both small and big tables for bigger groups. Unfortunately dinner lighting is not the best for food pictures ;)

We just arrived in Zipolite and we were looking for a nice restaurant to eat and were craving for simple fish dishes. After a little research, we found Sabor a Mar. because of the good recommendation, we decided to try it out - best decision we could have made!! food was delicious! Extremely delicious pulpo as well as the Camarones. The service was super attentive and friendly . Our waiter Adan was the cutest!! So open and friendly, we completely felt home, thank you so much 🙏🏼 We will definitely come...
