A more efficient ticketing system is needed, there are inexcusable issues with efficiency compared to other restaurants in the town, that do the amazing food and drink a major disservice. The head chef is a genius. I went three times and the dishes my family and I had were delicious. Beautifully prepared and presented. The bar-chef is also incredible. The cocktails are really beautifully presented, and expertly mixed.

The servers are very friendly, and apologetic, as they need to be, since whoever is actually managing the orders for the bar and the kitchen doesn't seem to have a grasp of the basics.

I visited for an early dinner service, at about half capacity, a mid-afternoon lunch service, at about a quarter capacity, and a dinner service at about 80% capacity. Each time the inefficiencies were the same. The service is consistently behind the ball rather than ahead of it.

Drinks are not served on time, or at all, unless you hound the staff, which I felt really guilty having to do.

The food, even at the slow lunchtime, took over an hour - for tacos.

When dining with others, my meal, a steak, arrived in an hour, and my partners tacos in 1h30mins.

Why does it take sooooo long for food to come, why do small things like water an appetizers often not arrive until after a few mains are served? There is not a lack of staff.

Simple restaurant ticket management will solve these issues, hopefully this can happen soon. I with Xhuba...

I am writing this review cause I got disappointed tonight. The food was good and the service as well. But at 21.10 I got asked to pay my bill on a Friday night even though they are open until 23.00 on google. I was told they had a private celebration/party and this is all fine. But what you should do in a good restaurant in this case is telling the people who chose this place for dinner IN ADVANCE that you will be closing a lot earlier tonight (especially on a Friday night). I would have rejected having dinner there in addition to that. But I just got kicked out very uncomfortably while I was watching how other people just entered to have a nice evening there. This is so not Mexican. And it's also no way to deal with customers. PS: I am a teacher at a college where we teach chefs and weighters in Germany. Next time you wanna have a private party please arrange it differently and tell the people who are no guests at your private party in advance that they will have to go soon. I have been to your place three times, but after tonight I won't come back.

All the...

I'm not sure what happened but this place was the worst place I ate at during my entire Mexican vacation. The fried shrimp tacos were SOOOO salty as to be inedible. The agreed to remake them and they were just as salty. I didn't argue with them, but when they saw I hadn't eaten anything off of my plate, they graciousky removed my entree from the bill and apologized — a point in their favor. The wait staff was very friendly but the service was extremely slow due to a backed-up kitchen. We waited almost forty-five minutes for one of the taco plates to come out. To be fair, they said there were running slow and that it would take 30 minutes but it ended up taking 45. Any restaurant can just be off for a night, and I might have gone at the wrong time or something. Unless you like very salty food, I don't recommend you go to this restaurant. But I do give them points for pleasant wait staff, and for offering to take the salty shrimp tacos off of my bill. Overall, I'd rate my experience a...

Wow, Xhuba is awesome! To start, it's located on a lovely section of beach and they had great music playing ✅ The tacos de pez were out of this world delicious! Nice, large cuts of mahi mahi, crispy yet thin batter, and super fresh tortillas and toppings. The portion was large (5 sizeable tacos) and fairly priced. The mojitos were solid too and a great value at 2x for $120. Lastly, they had a super tasty looking vegan menu and a gluten free biscuit on the menu for dessert that sounded great, but the tacos left me stuffed! The highlight of my experience though was the delightful Wendy. She is bubbly and has a wonderful energy and is truly passionate about customer service, food and Zipolite. This was my final meal before heading to the airport 😢 but made me fall in love with Zipolite even more. Thank you for everything Wendy, keep up the great work and shine bright 🌞 Eat here, you won't regret it!

For me the best place in Zipolite, no doubt. I am a vegan Chef and love when people go the extra way to put a bit more thought into their menu and design. Their dishes are all Mexican and carefully prepared with their own twists. I particularly enjoyed the tacos dorados stuffed with hibiscus. Something I have never seen elsewhere. And their sopes with mushrooms were also delicious. I cannot wait to go back and try more. One flaw, that didn't made me deduct any stars: it takes VERY long for the food and the service is a bit slow. But they are just really nice and when the food finally comes, you simply forget how long you waited. And you are waiting in a prime location, the beach and sea in front of you and they have a very great eclectic playlist. I just kept shazaming and filling Spotify with new music that I picked up there. 5 stars. Just work on your service and speed ;-)

It took a while until someone noticed we would like to order, but we were not in a rush and it was busy, so that's forgiven. The food was really amazing. We had the beef and chicken burger and both were very tasty including the fries served with them. They also serve some tortilla chips with salsa as free appetizers. Super nice. The next day we ordered the mole and the chicken taco's which also did not disappoint at all. In fact, I wanna go back for lunch just to eat those taco's again! The atmosphere ist just great, especially in the evening. Card payment was accepted without surcharge. Definitely recommended!
