La Fenice — Restaurant in Oaxaca

Terrible service! I waited for 1 pizza for an hour and girls who were at table with me got their in 30 min. They lied to me that's the way it works instead of saying they forgot to put order in the kitchen. After 1 hr pizza arrived without ham I asked for and the waiter goes: ham is under cheese nd I started to pick the pizza apart to show him there was no ham. After lying to my face this other lady,manager or smth comes and goes: we can't put ham on this pizza. I was shocked. So why waiter didn't tell me about it when I was placing order?and she goes: coz he is new. Aha, so who's fault is it that you do not train tour staff? Resuming: after 1hr of waiting i got pizA i didn't order and still had to pay full price,no discount, no free drink, NO APOLOGY! I want to thank one other waiter who came up and said "I'm sorry for the situation " like a normal human being. I understand that new years eve is busy but one pizza for 1 single women is not that complicated and also just being honest...

One: So glad we finally tried this place. What a find! The charred/chewy pizza (Napoli style) is sooo flavorful. I had the marinara pizza with onions and black olives - a vegan choice. I was more than surprised at how much I enjoyed this pizza. The marinara sauce was exceptional. Will be back!!! Best pizza anywhere ever! And I have had pizza in Sorrento, Italy.

Two: Someday, when I go to heaven, I am going to eat at La Fenice with Jesus, and we are going to have a great time. I don't know what Jesus is going to order, but I am going to get Pace with onions added to it. I'm going to order a round of Dos Equis Amber for everyone. It's going...

NEW: not opened when i was there, other day they tell me everything is full and that its not posible to take away, so i wait a bit and it was possible! 2022: they send me away at 20:40 and told me they are closed now, I was quite pissed cause I specially walked through whole Zipolite there cause I wanted their Pizza which is delicious, but taste is not everything if they dont care about their customners maybe long term ppl will go somwhere else :-( I still hope in the future if I will visit the place they will welcome me as usually italian ppl are the best in treating their...
