It's fun to explore the medina. It's my favorite medina in all of Morocco because it's the cleanest. You'll discover Spanish, French, and Italian architecture. If you have a guide, know that for anything you buy in the shop he/she took you in, they get a commission. Me being a dumb tourist purchased 3 bottles of Argan Oil, which God knows if it's real or not. I also overpaid for the silver necklace. Remember to haggle in Morocco, wherever you are. Go even as low as 80% off and make your way up until you met in the middle with the vendor to get...

Most Medina’s are similar and have the beautiful virtue of being a family community. There are many small businesses and children playing within the community .

I recommend taking the time to chat with the locals. One may be quite surprised at the knowledge and experience the local may have. Never ever judge a person by its cover.
