Just wow!|My first time in Morocco and first stop was this beautiful Riad in Marrakech. I was traveling solo so didn’t know what to expect or what I would experience. This Riad was just so spectacular from the mesmerizing architecture to the lively colors and inviting atmosphere. I arrived a stranger and left Marrakech with lifelong friends. ||The staff went above and beyond and catered to my every need. Setting up activities, giving recommendations, serving with love and attentiveness that I’ve never experienced anywhere else.||The on site restaurant is exquisite! They serve a beautiful authentic breakfast daily that was included in the stay. Homemade pastries, lovely omelette, fresh local fruit and yogurt. |I had dinner there on my last night and honestly, I wish I had chose to have dinner on the first night because I would have had dinner there every night, the food was absolutely amazing! Totally recommend, the beef tagine slow cooked with Moroccan spices…drool.||The riad also has a hammam and spa services which I took full advantage of. The experience was just so fun and I literally felt like a brand new person. The lady doing the hammam was so sweet and really great at making me feel so relaxed and rejuvenated. I definitely recommend experiencing the hammam.||I was actually sad to leave but I will definitely be back. Thank you to all of the amazing staff for making my stay so memorable and...
Read moreOn the positive side: The staff is brilliant, polite and fluent in english and french. The riad is tidy at all times and has a high standard in regards to maroccan-style interior decorations, with an appealing interior hallway. Rooms are clean and tidied every day. Our room was what you may call charming - we were installed in a room without windows, supposedly "superiour lux". Wifi was terrible (maybe due to the fact we were living in a bunker?), and the electricity in our room went for hours twice in one week, one time for unknown reasons, one time as a result of an explosion in the kitchen. The hammam is too small (and too cold when we were there), the same with the pool, which is just a 2 by 2 meter pond in the lobby area. The standard of the beatiful sunny terrace is somehow downgraded by the flock of pigeons living just above. The hotell charge you unwarned a 30 dirham tourist tax per night at checkout. This underlines our experience that the overall impression is more of a two/three star than a four star. All the top recommendations given elsewhere here is...
Read moreMy first time staying in a Riad, they are beautiful buildings and the Le Medina Privilege is beautiful, the accommodation is tastefully designed and decorated, clean and classy. We stayed 3 nights the staff particularly Anouar and Faissal are absolutely beautiful human beings they really went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay, there were some issues with our room the first day these were resolved very quickly. Breakfast is excellent. My one critique is temperature, perhaps the 3 nights we chose to stay were the coldest days in Morocco generally - who knows but the rooms were very cold day & night, we needed to ask for additional heating. It would be good for there to be some sort of additional heating for the coldest days & nights of winter. All in all a lovely experience. Something to note the Earthquake in 2023 was severe and affected many of the buildings inside the walled city (Medina) as they are antiquities consequently some areas look like it's been hit by bomb but that did not spoil the beauty or comfortableness of the Le...
