The Riad is under construction. The pool is closed. The entire Riad smells of paint fumes and the air is dusty. Directly after breakfast, the construction noise begins. We were not informed of the closed facilities just told it was out of their control. But we only booked this Riad a few days before and they 100% would have known that they had all this construction happening. It was very upsetting for my 2 children not to be able to swim in a pool after a hot day of sight seeing. We ended up paying to spend the day at another Riad and use their pool. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity that was ruined by a selfish Riad owner. I feel very sorry for his employees who have to deal with all the complaints.

//Stayed Jan 2024. //Located in the Medina, close to the main square - Jemaa El Fna. //Suggested parking, Parking Bernani. //Most of the rooms are located on the top floor access to the terrace, but as it was cold, we didn’t use it as often. //Some of the facilities in the terrace was removed or not similar to published photos. //Breakfast was small but sufficient. // Staff were friendly and helpful. // our room was spacious, the swing doors to access the bathroom area make squeaking noice and was very disturbing. // Airconditioning available for heating.

The location of the riad is incredible as it's just a 5-minute walk from the main square. The inside of the riad is beautiful and very quiet, making it perfect for relaxation. The staff was very kind and friendly, which made the stay even more pleasant. Moreover, the rooftop is also a very nice place to relax and soak up some sun at the end of the day. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay!

We had a mixed experience staying at Palais Chadmi. The place is beautiful, well located and the room we chose was very charming. Initially the check in was smooth, the staff were nice, but that was where the positive experience stoped. We had a dinner organised at the restaurant of the guesthouse, which you can add to your booking in their website. They confirmed dinner when we checked in but later, when we arrived for dinner, we found no staff and no indication on where dinner would be served or by who. Only the security guard was working. We were then told there was no one to serve us dinner and directed us straight to the kitchen for us to set the table, microwave the meal and serve it ourselves. We were shocked with the lack of professionalism and communication. That evening we were also told that a guest had no hot water in their room, which we also experienced. Also our tap control in the bathroom fell off the wall. So, though the place has lots of potential and at first glance looks great, the lack of caring shows in the details: un repaired essentials, short of staff, poor communication. You can clearly see the owner of this establishment doesn’t care to invest in the staff or looks after the property. The only saving grace was that the dinner was not charged...

Resembling a monastic cell in its austerity, no concession to comfort was made in our room with not so much as a complimentary bottle of water provided for guests. Bare and chilly, the room featured an uncomfortable mattress with a thin bed covering and one flat pillow each.|What was more bizarr, however, was the apparent lack of staff. We were greeted by one individual who told us that he was leaving that evening and then demanded a tip. The remaining of the time, there was either no-one to be found in the place, or someone sitting around who behaved with surprise and bewilderment when greeted by a guest. We asked 3 times if a taxi could be arranged to take us to the airport but this appeared to be a baffling and unheard of request and no arrangements seemed to be made. The included breakfast similarly failed to materialise before we had to leave for the airport.|We stayed one night which was more...
