PIKALA hostel and rooftop — Hotel in Marrakesh Prefecture

Pikala Hostel was the best place we could have chosen. The staff there made us feel so welcome with their amazing hospitality. By the end, they felt like family. The breakfast (5€) was phenomenal; we could truly tell that it was made with love by the sweetest lady ever, Naima. Vincent, Zoubayr, and Omar were super helpful to us during our stay and helped us with anything we needed, as well as booking a tour in the Agafay for us when we couldn't decide what we wanted to do. In addition to the lovely staff, the hostel was very clean and well kept! Last but not least, the rooftop was so lovely to relax on, this is where we were served our breakfast. The rooftop was cozy and comfy, the perfect place to connect with the other guests at the hostel (who were all lovely as well). The only thing I would mention is that the hostel is slightly outside the city center; therefore, I would not recommend walking around the area at night if you're a tourist, especially if you are a woman. This is not the fault of the hostel; in fact, my first night there, I was alone, and Vincent accompanied me to a nearby sandwich shop and waited for me while I ordered and then walked me back to the hostel. This might be my favourite hostel ever. It is very clean and well kept. The location is great, walkable to the main city square. I felt very safe and confortable during my entire stay. The staff was incredible, Vincent is very welcoming, Zoubair and Omar are lovely to chat with and arranged desert tours for me and my group, and Naima is so kind and helpful (the desert tour to Agafay was incredible, I could not recommend enough). I would highly recommend the breakfast, for 5 euros I got a delicious and very big meal. I felt very welcome and well cared for, and was able to ask for assistance with anything at any time. The rooftop area is so nice and me and my group hung out there every evening. I wish I could’ve extended my stay, and plan on coming back to Marrakech and staying at Pikala again - I could not recommend this...

Felt Like Home!

We had an unforgettable experience at Pikala hostel in Marrakesh. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was outstanding the staff truly treated us like family. They were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed, from local tips to booking activities.

The food was absolutely delicious every meal felt like a home-cooked treat, rich in Moroccan flavours and prepared with care. The rooms and showers were clean and well-maintained, which made our stay all the more comfortable.
