This restaurant can be a little bit tricky to find but once you find it, boy did you just find a diamond in the rough!!
Chef Ben Mannana is a one-man army, and he cooks up a storm every single time. While I will describe the food shortly, I think it’s important note that this man has over 17 years of professional chef experience all over the Europe, and in India.
In 2018, he left to start his own restaurant, and since then has been wowing his guests. Not only is a great cook, but he is an absolutely genuine and great person to talk to.
As for the food, we weren’t too hungry, but we ordered a chicken tangia to share (PICTURED). Now keep in mind that this is supposed to be only for one person, but there is plenty enough for my wife and I to share comfortably.
The flavour was bold yet worked well together, and it is clear that he has Indian inspiration in his culinary background. For those who are not interested in spicy foods you can also choose to make it in the classic way.
The rooftop is very nice and give you a good view of the city, but you have to be prepared for wind because it can be chilly up there so always good idea to bring a sweater or a light jacket .
We can’t wait...

But then, everything changes. You're warmly greeted by the owner and chef, who also lives in the building. His passion shines as he walks you through the menu, describing each dish in such vivid detail that your mind immediately begins to imagine the flavors.
We followed his expert recommendations, and every dish was a revelation. The beef, chicken, and lamb were simply outstanding—cooked to perfection, incredibly tender, and bursting with flavor. Even the accompanying vegetables and potatoes were delightful touches that complemented the meal beautifully.
The atmosphere was equally enchanting. The space was spotless, and to top it off, we were treated to a magical night under a full moon with the sounds of the city celebrating the Mawlid festival in the background. It was an unforgettable experience.
If you're visiting Marrakech, this is the place to eat. Highly...

Don't be fooled by the facade or the interior, because once you get over your doubts, the food we were served was absolutely fantastic! Try the Tangia beef cooked for 4 hours with delicious spices... an absolute delight. We also had a beef tagine made to taste on the spot, which was great! Both of these were served with a side of vegetables. This was also served with bread and a mixed salad with avocados, tomatoes and olives. The prices are fixed on the menu and quite fair for Marrakech. The chef who serves is very kind. He seems to work alone as chef and waiter, so I suppose if it's busy, there might be a bit of a wait. The setting of the rooftop terrace and the view of the Koutoubia in the evening meant that we didn't mind the wait at all! We also had a lovely chat with him at the end and we're given some oranges to take away. I would absolutely...
