Read moreWe’ve been travelling for 5 weeks and this experience has stayed with me through the trip. We visited this restaurant upon the recommendation of our Riad. Upon entrance it’s dreamy and beautiful and we were excited to be there. The food was okay, not great. We ordered tajin, a pasta for our kid and gnocchi. I can’t say that the servers were the friendliest but what I found extremely upsetting was the owners/managers would treat certain guests with an extreme level of graciousness as the rest of us was left unattended to. Half way through the meal we found a hair in our pasta but we didn’t wish to create a scene put it aside and alerted the waitstaff. They apologised but still charged for this meal. I’m of the firm opinion that one shouldn’t have to kick and scream for an establishment do what’s right and for a restaurant to have hair in food, it’s unacceptable -we shouldn’t have to ask. We paid we left, but it was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. To pay to be made to feel of less significant then other patrons. Perhaps the two gentlemen that we’re running the show could have attended to our table and simply apologised, it’s not about the money it was about principle. It was a...
Read moreWhat a shameful experience — and sadly, it wasn’t because of the food, but the treatment we received. We waited around 45 minutes just for basic items like bruschetta and insalata caprese, despite the restaurant being nearly empty (only one other table was occupied). Every time we politely asked the staff about the status of our order, we were met with poor attitudes and dismissive responses.
What made the situation worse was the response from the owners. Instead of simply apologizing and acknowledging the delay — a simple "we apologize, your food is on the way" would have sufficed, they accused us of lying when we provided honest feedback on a previews google review. As someone who works in the service industry, I find this behavior unacceptable and I wouldn’t even have to be in this field to recognize such rude behavior. Challenging a customer’s experience rather than taking responsibility shows a complete lack of professionalism.
The fact remains: the staff was rude, the food took 45 minutes to arrive, and management refused to own up to it. This was a truly disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this...
