How describe our experience... A pure pleasure! Riad Clef D'orient is a pearl in the midst of the Kasbah. It really suits the name, it is your direct path to feel the morrocan way of life and the rich history and culture of Marrakech. The Riad is ideally located in a historical site, it is a nest of tranquility, you will be surrounded by the effervescent life throughout the busy tiny streets yet find yourself relaxing and chilling in a beautifully decorated Riad. Indeed it is arranged in the purest marrackchi style, elegant, raffinated yet not kitschy. All room are wonderful. Light sandal wood scent enchants your senses everywhere in the Riad. We traveled to Morroco after two years of corona lockdown accompanied by our three young daughters and our grand parents. We had the family suite and our grand parents were set in the patio so they would not climb stairs. The staff makes you feel home and comfy right away. Kamal is not only a great manager but a thoughtful host who will do all he can to to make your stay enjoyable. We could fully rely on him to arrange secure transportation for us to Essouirawith a sympathetic and professional driverHe proactively makes you nice suggestion for visits without being pushy. So we ended doing a city tour on calèche, the highlight for all us. He would even go beyond and accompanied our grand parents into the airport to secure their departure. Sanaa greets you with a bright a gentle smile at all time and her savourous cooking will enchant you. The further young colleagues are as well very sympathetic, open minded and warm-hearted. Our daughters loved fooling around with them and had also lots of fun playing around the pool or on the roof terrace, our grand parents enjoyed chilling in the saloon. Finally the staff granted us with a delicious and magical dinner beautifully set in the courtyard. I must add that they all were very patient and worked hard while being in the midst of Ramadan. ||We will never forget their kindness, their dedication and their competence. Dès que je suis arrivé au Riad Clefs d'Orient, j’ai été frappé par la beauté et la tranquillité de cet endroit. Niché dans les rues de la médina, à proximité du magnifique Palais El Badiî, le riad est un véritable oasis de sérénité, offrant un contraste parfait avec l’énergie de Marrakech. L’accueil a été chaleureux et attentionné, avec un personnel souriant qui a pris soin de chaque détail pour rendre mon séjour agréable.

Le riad est idéalement situé, à proximité des attractions principales de Marrakech, tout en étant suffisamment retiré pour offrir une atmosphère calme et apaisante. Il est facile d’accéder à la place Jemaa el-Fna, aux souks et aux jardins Majorelle.

Le personnel est d'une gentillesse rare. Dès mon arrivée, on m’a offert un thé à la menthe traditionnel, et l’équipe s'est assurée que je sois bien installé. Ils sont extrêmement attentifs et disponibles, tout en étant discrets. Ils ont toujours été prêts à me donner des recommandations pour des visites, des restaurants et des activités. Ils peuvent également vous conseiller concernant des transferts et excursions.

L’un des points forts de mon séjour a été le superbe rooftop du riad. Il offre une vue magnifique sur la médina et les montagnes de l'Atlas. C'est un endroit idéal pour prendre un repas ou un verre en toute tranquillité. J'ai eu la chance de goûter à des plats de grande qualité préparés avec une attention particulière aux saveurs. Chaque bouchée était une explosion de saveurs ! Les plats étaient à la fois raffinés et authentiques, offrant une véritable immersion dans la cuisine marocaine. J’ai par exemple goûté le fabuleux tajine au bœuf pruneaux et sésame. Le rooftop propose également une sélection de boissons délicieuses, notamment des mocktails et des smoothies. Chaque boisson est une vraie découverte, pleine de fraîcheur et d’ingrédients de qualité.

Ma chambre était magnifique et décorée avec un souci du détail. Les couleurs, le mobilier, et l’atmosphère générale créent une ambiance très agréable. Le confort est irréprochable, avec des draps de qualité, une literie ultra-confortable et une salle de bain spacieuse. J'ai particulièrement apprécié le calme de la chambre, parfait pour se détendre après une journée de visite.

Le Riad Clefs d'Orient est un véritable chef-d'œuvre de décoration. Chaque détail a été pensé avec soin, de l’architecture traditionnelle aux éléments modernes qui apportent une touche d’élégance supplémentaire. Le patio central avec sa fontaine, les plantes et fleurs, les salons accueillants et les chambres somptueusement décorées créent une atmosphère chaleureuse et apaisante. Le riad est une belle fusion entre tradition et confort, avec un sens du raffinement qui se retrouve dans chaque recoin.

Ce séjour a surpassé toutes mes attentes. C’est l’endroit parfait pour se ressourcer tout en découvrant Marrakech. Le cadre, le service, la cuisine, et l’accueil sont vraiment exceptionnels. Marrakesh is a magic place where everything runs very fast and slow in the same time. The feeling you have staying in the Medina is to be in a safe place, where everyone is ready to help you once you are looking at the map or need something specific, the noises and scented of the city envelopes you. We spent 4 days around the Medina and we stayed in a lovely riad, “Clefs d’Orient” that fully recommend: beautiful and characteristic oasis of peace in the beating heart of the medina, very clean, with attention to detail and small enough not let you feel alone as in big hotels. The manager Kamal is always smiling, always taking care of his hosts and always available to suggest nice places to visi or help you with high professionally.
