This a restaurant with a modern Lebanese/fusion menu at the rooftop of an art museum. Most diners are museum visitors who end up at the rooftop, but you can also go directly to the restaurant without visiting the museum by informing the reception - who will then take you in through the back door/gift shop where there is an elevator directly to the 3rd floor.
The restaurant ambience on the rooftop is definitely enchanting - it's like a beautiful secret garden on the roof and was very shady, cool for lunch even on a hot sunny day. Tables are very spaced out. The service is also swift, friendly and good.
However the food honestly is very so-so. It is beautifully plated and presented, but the taste is extremely average (or even below average) depending what you order. The smoked eggplant caviar was the most notable dish out of everything we tried. The batatas and burger duo were just OK. Most disappointing was the pasta of the day which should be avoided: it's prepared with packaged dry pasta not fresh (for this price we were at least expecting fresh pasta). I'm only a home cook but was still confident I can produce a tastier dish with packaged pasta than the one served ๐
Still this is a nice place to enjoy a lovely ambience and environment, with a juice or mocktail - just don't go only for the food ๐ Credit...

The food is delicious and clearly prepared with care, showcasing fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The only downside is that the portions are a bit on the smaller side, but the quality more than makes up for it.
Overall, I highly recommend Shams Rooftop โ itโs a must-visit for anyone looking for great food, fantastic service, and an...

We liked it so much that we came back a second time and would definitely visit again on our next trip to Marrakesh. (Also good to know: you don't need to visit the museum to access...
