We were guests in this riad for 3 nights. It lies in the middle of the old town of Marrakech, the so-called "Medina", which turned out to be an absolute stroke of luck. Because life in Marrakech takes place in Medina. Here you can find the so-called "souks", the markets, which immerse you in a fairy tale from 1001 nights. From the Riad, which by the way means garden, everything can be reached on foot, hidden gardens, great restaurants and just the countless merchants with their craftsmanship. A special feature of the Arab world is that most of the "beautiful" things are hidden. This is also the case with this riad. After our transfer from the airport we were guided by a friendly employee of the riad through winding alleys to our accommodation. If you step through the entrance door, another world opens up and you immediately feel an inner peace. The Riad has 10 rooms spread over 3 floors. In the middle there is a small pool, typical for riads. The rooms are comfortably furnished and are cleaned daily. In the morning, a varied breakfast is served that can be enjoyed directly at the pool or on the roof terrace, in addition, I recommend a mint tea that tastes excellent. I would especially like to emphasize the extremely friendly and helpful staff. Without being intrusive, they are available to answer any questions and leave nothing to be desired. Congratulations on the great work you are doing!
So if you want to dive into a completely different world and get to know the hectic life of the Arab world and still want to relax, you should...
Read moreA little piece of heaven in the heart of the medina ❤️||The best place we have ever stayed in Marrakesh. Our hosts were amazing. They were always on the end of a telephone. They came out to meet us as we weren’t great at navigating the medina alleyways, even at 4am to get us to our balloon flight. Food was available and made fresh pretty much at any time., and tasted awesome. The riad was beautiful with careful attention to detail down to rose petals in our room and bathroom. The hammam experience and massages were amazing too. ||Our hosts also negotiated and directed any taxis we used and met us off of the taxis and escorted us back to the riad. ||The roof terrace was a lovely place to enjoy the night air and the views down into the courtyard. ||On arrival we were given a map and our hosts sat down with us and went through all the places we wanted to go. Transfers to and from the airport and anywhere else can be organised by these amazing hosts. They are able to organise any excursions and a competitive rate. We organised some things before we left the UK but next time we will leave it in their hands. ||Our stay was sadly a short one but with the help of our hosts we experienced so much in such a short space of time, carefully choreographed with their help. We were sad to leave but we will stay in contact with them and feel we have made friends for life and we will return there. Thank you so much for such an...
Read moreA little piece of heaven in the medina. We stayed at this beautiful Riad from 17th April to 20th April. We had 3 rooms in total and this was our first visit to Marrakech due to a family wedding. On arrival, we were greeted with traditional mint tea and cakes. The welcome was pleasant and professional. We felt very special. Even though the rooms were very small, the beautiful courtyard and terrace more than made up for it. We had lunch at the terrace restaurant on the first day and the food and service was fantastic. The beds are very comfortable and rooms all air conditioned. Breakfast is fresh and varied. This hotel is right in the centre of a very busy pedestrian area in the medina. At first, it’s all a bit overwhelming with traders still riding on carts and donkeys and motorbikes and mopeds all around you. You either have to embrace the whole madness or go home. The area seemed a little unsafe at night time but the staff escorted us in and out of the area to our waiting taxis or restaurants. Nothing was too much. Trouble for them. A little unsafe if you’re a female on your own and walking back to the hotel. We had a very enjoyable time at this hotel and they were really hospitable and if we ever go back to Marrakech again, we would stay in the...
