They price their products at double or more compared to certified items of same quality and quantity in other herbalists. Some oils are in dark glasses which helps preserve them but does not allow you to inspect the item before purchasing. The best thing at this shop in the girl giving demos. She is so knowledgeable and talented. She gave our group a comprehensive guide, answered all of our questions and recommended products while we sipped our Moroccan teas. I was surprised to find out they don't give any discount regardless of how many items you buy. They just gave me a clay lipstick as a gift after spending 1200 dirhams!! I got the same clay lipstick as gift spending only 80 dirham on Moroccan tea in another shop! Our guide cashed a good commission taking 8 of us there. Walking around the market the next day, I realised the market value of the items I bought and was disappointed to find out I paid more than double :( I'd say if you need to purchase anything which is better preserved in dark glass containers, buy them here. Otherwise, check other shops and by no means walk in here with a guide who will happily cash in a high commission while signalling the owner to give you high...

The lady is incredibly knowledgeable. A few people in the group had head colds. She had them inhale crushed Nigella (black cumin seeds) and -poof - their heads were decongested
Her cooking herbs are of top quality from the saffron down to the blend of 35 spices for lazy cooks
During our visit to the shop we were treated with the lovely warm hospitality we have grown accustomed to in Morocco. We were served mint tea (which they sell) their nighttime herbal tea is also excellent
She’s a great salesperson because she demonstrates and lets you smell and try many of the products she is offering and she has an encyclopedic grasp of what every herb can do
Even if you don’t buy anything you will be fascinated and...

Walking into Herboriste La Sagesse feels like stepping into another world, rich with scent, tradition, and warmth. The moment you enter, you’re welcomed like a guest, not just a customer. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Moroccan herbs, spices, and oils, and they take the time to explain everything, letting you smell, touch, and truly understand what makes each product special. What really stood out to me was the quality of their handmade oils, especially the argan oil and prickly pear (cactus) oil. And the prices are very fair.
This isn’t just a store, it’s an experience. You leave not only with beautiful products but also with a sense of having learned something about Morocco’s rich natural traditions. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re in Marrakech,...
