After along afternoon of exploring the market and dodging traffic, we wearily stumbled across this oasis. As we entered, the hustle and bustle of the outside world faded away and before us was a tranquil and refreshing tea house. Although we hoped to be seated on the main floor, the hostess advised that all of the tables had been reserved. So we were seated on rail of the second floor. The menu was a tea lovers dream. Wanting to take our time and take in the atmosphere, our server had other plans and hovered over us making for an uncomfortable moment that seemed to last forever. Making our decision, we sensed that our server was disappointed that we did not order pastries as an accompaniment. Getting the hint, he finaly left and we gazed at the pristine surroundings. Our tea arrived with a new server. We had heard that tea played an important role in Moroccan traditions so we waited in anticipation to observe the pouring. Although the server tried his best, it seemed like he was in training and fumbled through the details. It did not take away from the experience as the tea was delicious.

This teahouse is my new favourite discovery in Marrakech. Instead of going to El Bacha, go here instead - you will have a much better experience! This is a beautiful, newly renovated place, with the biggest variety of hot and cold teas that I have seen. They are all delicious, especially the Hibiscus Icetea and the hot Mint-tea in a glass. The food offering they have is also of the highest quality and taste. After the meal, the staff offered me the tour of the place for free - they have a dedicated Tea-Museum, second floor with art exibitions and a marvellous rooftop! The views from the roof are stunning and its super calm. Just before the exit of the house, there is a hidden tea-shop with their own loose-leave teas that they serve from different regions of Morocco and hand-made silver plated teapots! I took one home. Overall this Teahouse is must-visit in Marrakech and I recommend that you go before it goes viral and there will be a huge queue to enter.

Nestled near the historic Medresa Ben Youssef, 1112 is a newly opened tea house with a fascinating past. Once the residence of a Moroccan minister, this elegant establishment now offers a serene escape from the bustling medina. Highlights: • Three floors of beautifully renovated space • Tranquil atmosphere perfect for relaxation • Exceptional service (shout out to our attentive waiter, Mohammad!) While the ambiance is already impressive, there's potential for even more charm as they add finishing touches. The premium experience does come with a higher price point – our date/banana milkshake was priced at nearly £11.00 Pro tip: Visit now to experience the calm before it becomes a hotspot. It's an ideal place to recharge after exploring nearby attractions. Have you discovered any hidden gems in Marrakech lately? Share in the comments! 👇 #MarrakechFinds #TeaHouse1112 #MoroccanLuxury

PERFECT FOR A TRADITIONAL SURPRISE, EVEN IF DONE REMOTELY!

Although I never visited 1112 Marrakech in person, my experience with their online offering and delivery service was truly outstanding. I wanted to surprise a friend in Marrakech for the birthday with a selection of traditional Moroccan teas delivered directly at the accommodation. From the moment I reached out via Instagram, the staff were extraordinarily helpful and communicative, guiding me expertly in my selection. Both the payment and delivery were impeccable — the delivery person was remarkably patient despite unexpected delays on my friend’s side, ensuring the package was delivered perfectly and on time. The tea assortment was beautiful, and the packaging included a thoughtfully printed custom card with my personal message, all at the regular price of the teas.

This level of dedication and care far exceeded my expectations. 1112 Marrakech offers top-quality products combined with exemplary customer care. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Moroccan tea and...

Today, we were lucky enough to discover a beautiful riad in Marrakech, just opened two weeks ago by the Aut Ben Abfallah family. 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝘄𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲 @1112marrakech Nestled in an 18th-century building, this riad offers not only an exquisite culinary experience but also a deep dive into the rich Moroccan tea tradition 🍃. Their extensive tea menu is like a journey through different regions, teaching you how each tea is enjoyed ☕️.

We first indulged in a delicious tea with sweet pastries 🍵🍪, then returned for a delightful lunch in a stunning oriental atmosphere. We were treated like royalty 👑, while learning so much about Moroccan culinary traditions and the art of tea.

We were also given a tour of the house and museum, both lovingly restored with artisanal Moroccan craftsmanship 🛖. Truly, an unforgettable experience! Huge thanks to the this family, the team at the riad in 1112, and especially Mohamed for his outstanding hospitality 🙌. Marrakech is one-of-a-kind because of treasures like...
