This was a great place for me and my family to stay, the rooms were spacious and the view was amazing. We rented two rooms, one was a two double bedroom and the 2nd a couples king size bedroom. Walking in the couples room was amazing, they had the towel folded in a heart shape on top of the bed which was cute. When we opened the curtain we had a great view of the city (we had the roof top room). The staff here are amazing and always looking to make our stay comfortable. The staff was helpful courteous and hardworking. They also offer a big portion of breakfast in the morning if you're too lazy to get out of bed and go out to eat. The Inn is also located in a convenient place. Down the block there was a super market in case we needed to buy anything. The Inn is also a walking distance away from the main street/lake side to buy any souvenirs, food or just to enjoy a stroll down the lake. Overall we had a wonderful stay with amazing service. Definitely would come back to this Inn if we return...

Read moreDuring my recent trip to Nepal I had the pleasure of staying in Pokkara at the Basanta Inn hotel. This hotel was a pleasant discovery: excellent hospitality by the owner Jivan Regmi, wonderful atmosphere, clean environment and attention to detail and customer care. The room was spacious and tastefully furnished, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast more than abundant with a lot of variety and everything of first quality. And what about the staff ... right from our arrival we immediately breathed a courtesy and a genuine and friendly hospitality that won us over. The location is great, 10 minutes walk to places of interest like Barahi Temple and Ratna Mandir, the Peace Pagoda and Patale Chhango (waterfall) are less than 5 km away. It is definitely a hotel that I recommend and where we would gladly return...
