The worst thakali food I have ever had experienced at this place. Me and my friend went to this place thinking that it would be good place for dinner but the waiters attitude omg, It's like they don't know how to treat the customers, especially the guy with mullet long hair. He was so fkin ugly but he thought he was some kind of celebrity who doesn't works there but is the king of that place. The food was just ewww, and it was so inedible, tasteless, boring, awful, yucky, nauseating, yucky. The place really need to change their staffs or keep a manager and try to make the food more delicious. We asked for the bill and guess what, he just ignored us. The ugly waiter who looks like a b needs to chill and treat his customers right. The receptionist and waiters also need to be polite. We were feeling hot but no one cared as the fan was running on the opposite side in the same direction. These little things should be corrected by the owner and keep a manager for it. We wanted to have an authentic Thakali thaali for dinner. We found this place thru a Vlog. Located at the start of the Phewa lake area in a side lane. The ambience is typically Nepali. So is the cutlery used. We had a Chicken thali and a veg thali. It's a very heavy thali to push down in one seating. The service was prompt and the food served was fresh and hot. It was an unlimited thali meaning they serve you the veggies, rice, dal and pickles again, if required. While seating, we had enquired if INR currency is accepted to which the server had indicated in the positive. I had the vegetarian Thakali Thali at Pokhara Thakali Kitchen, and it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were authentic, perfectly balanced, and reminded me of true homestyle Thakali cooking. Every dish on the plate complemented the rice beautifully—from the rich lentil soup to the fresh vegetables, tangy pickles, crispy papad, and creamy curd.

My wife had the same thali, and she absolutely loved it too. We both agreed this was by far the best Thakali Thali we have ever eaten. The portion was generous, the presentation traditional, and the taste unforgettable.
