Read moreIf you’re craving authentic, flavorful biryani in Pokhara, Baba Biryani is the place to be! I recently tried their biryani, and it was nothing short of amazing.
The aroma of the spices hit me the moment it arrived at my table, and the first bite was pure bliss. The rice was perfectly cooked—light, fluffy, and infused with a rich blend of spices that gave it an authentic taste. The meat (I tried chicken biryani) was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, with just the right balance of heat and seasoning.
What I loved most was how the spices didn’t overpower the dish but complemented each ingredient beautifully. The portion size was generous, making it excellent value for money. They also serve it with a side of raita, which added a refreshing tang to the overall experience.
The ambiance of the place is cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Whether you’re a local or a tourist visiting Pokhara, Baba Biryani should definitely be on your food list.
I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommended for all biryani...

I came at a time (~3:30pm) where it was not crowded (late lunch/early dinner) and I was actually the only patron at the time. As expected, the food is prepared fresh to order, so it ook about 30 minutes to receive food after ordering.
(4) LOCATION: A 2-minute walk from the intersection of Durbar Marg & Lakeside Road (a popular strip in Pokhara). Its an “open” restaurant, so you will see & hear...
