Hot Spot Fascinating Bed and Breakfast — Hotel in Amsterdam

I will tell you the good first. Ricky is the person running the place and he is very responsive on WhatsApp, also there is a small balcony with a view and the place is clean and you are close to tourist sports and their tram.

Now the bad. This place is not a bed and breakfast. It is basically a studio hostel. It is on the 3 floor or a very very very narrow and badly angeled stairs. It is a nightmare going down now image how bad it is going up with any suitcase. There is one shampoo body wash liquid not sure which but we ended up using our own. The bed does not have a head board and you are constantly slipping back or hitting your head against the pillar. The mattress does not have side support so you feel like falling from the sides. The breakfast in the bed and breakfast is a cookie and instant coffee or tea bag in your room and of course there is no service to clean the room during your stay. Also the neighbors in the building and other smoke weed constantly but I guess it is Amsterdam so one cannot complain.

me and my girlfriend went to amsterdam for a 4 day city break. I have been to amsterdam twice in the past and was my girlfriends 1st time so we were looking for something a bit more romantic. The room was small, cosy and extremely clean. We were welcomed by ricky, who was on time, efficient and in constant contact with us constantly offering a helpng hand if we needed anything. The room was ready before check in time also.The room is in a perfect location a couple of streets over from the busy red light area. Which was perfect for us as we had peace. But were close enough to go enjoying the sights of the centre of amsterdam. The balcony was amazing too as i enjoy to smoke so had somewhere to chill out after a long day. Plenty of places around to eat breakfast/lunch and loads of souvenir shops. The stairs are steep but that is typical of amsterdam. I dont think i would ever want to stay anywhere else in amsterdam. It dose what it says on the tin! fantastic location in a traditional building that gives you a awesome view of the city ,everything is literally 5 minutes away ,there is coffee shops on the doorstep (nearly) ,being able to enjoy the delights of Amsterdam in your room was a big draw lol forgive the pun .the guys that run the place are spot on ,they leave you to do as you want but are just a call away if you have something to ask or to get advice really hospitable .
