Cuddle Pub — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Popped in here with my sister while the boys were doing their own thing. We were greeted by Nino at the bar who was very friendly and helpful. He talked us through our drink options and offered to make me the best mojito I'd ever had! He asked if I preferred it more sweet or sour and I said sour. Having it tailor-made to my taste was a great personal touch and it was absolutely delicious. We were only planning on having one drink at the bar and then leave, but we ended up sitting at table and ordering more drinks and some chips. Our boyfriends then joined us and ordered a selection of snacks and drinks for themselves. At this point the place started getting really busy. Apart from the chef, Nino was on his own. Even though it was busy, he served everyone with a smile and made sure we were all happy. The music selection was amazing! At one point 'Rosanna' by Toto came on! Love that song! Great place to visit for food and drinks. Will definitely return when we next visit the city....

We were recommended to try this place. However, we would not know if the food & service is good or not. An hour after making a reservation, they cancelled the reservation with no reason, nor are they answering why. We had to last minute change our plans for the night. Trust them at your own risk!

Update: for accuracy, I made the reservation for 30.08.25 at 9:45pm. I did NOT cancel this reservation. I received notice that it was cancelled and I messaged to ask for the reason with no reply. The next day, a new reservation was made for 31.08.25 at 9:01pm. I did NOT make this reservation. I DID cancel this new reservation because we had moved on to other plans. Don't blame others for actions your organization did by both cancelling the original email and making a new...

My wife and I are from the US and we visited the Netherlands back in September 2024, and this place took really good care of us. We had a long day of airport delays and stress which caused us to miss lunch, so we were very hungry when we got to Amsterdam just in time for dinner. We ordered the Dutch bitterballen and the German pork schnitzel with fries (which were basically British-style chips) and a nice side salad. The food was fantastic and the variety of sauces was impressive. We had Sauvignon Blanc and some sparkling water to drink, which were both refreshing. We were full and happy when we left this lovely pub, so we'll definitely come back if we find ourselves in...
