I booked through Expedia. And it was absolutely a nightmare with the service. I stayed December 31 2021 and 1 1 2022 They only have very limited parking so have to pay 15 to use underground parking. I booked for 3 people and it charged " Extra guest Fee" . however , there's just 1 King bed. The Japanese receptionist asked me if i wanted to pay 60 dollars for an extra single bed I said no. We were family traveling together so we could just rough it. When I turned up at the Hotel, the Japanese receptionist charged me 760 not 691. Then the Malaysian receptionist came out and said to me it was Expedia's price not their price. I should complain to Expedia. However i said to her it was their contract with expedia. I don't know anything about this over charging. Then she asked manager and changed it to expedia price.

However Japanese receptionist took my credit i use on expedia and charge me 701 as there's credit card surcharge. I asked why didn't tell me there's surcharge and you didn't tell me. Expedia never charges extra for using credit card.Malaysian woman said if i was not happy with the hotel booking she would just cancel it and refund me. It was outrageous as it was new year eve. Where did we find another one? I gave her my Eftpos card to use. this time i was very angry especially when the Malaysian receptionist tried her best read through these terms and conditions on Expedia and tried to catch me out and letting me know it was all my fault.

I bought ferger burger on 1 1 2022 and put the leftover in the fridge. On the morning of 2 1 2022, I asked her if she could heat it up for me. Malaysian receptionist told me the Kitchen of the hotel bar refused to heat it up for me. Their excuses are as such, first it was not bought from the hotel bar. secondly the food contained meat and they didn't know if it was contaminated. They would not heat it up. I believe this is the very first time, i have ever been refused by the hotel kitchen to heat my food up. I asked her to just throw the burgers into trash can. we went out and had breakfast.

I met the manager and he's a very nice person. He wasn't on duty so i messaged him later on and told him about this horrible experience.

I really don't enjoy giving bad comments. I don't think I have ever given any bad comment. However this time it was absolutely outrageous. first first first time ever, I was treated like this by a...

The hotel is quite big but the service is not really great. When we entered the room and bathroom, it was quite spacious but the bathroom does not have any wet towel hanging hooks or handles. No space for putting toiletries. Besides that in the bathroom there was a message on the basin saying in case you need any sanitary pads or any basic toiletries, you can just inform the reception and go down to fetch it. Now unluckily, I got my periods late at night and I didn't have any pads so I called the reception and they said they don't have anything to help. So in case you're planning to go to this hotel, please go prepared with everything as in this hotel that claims to have 247 room service, there was nobody available to even answer a call, let alone the service. I called the reception and room service over 7-9 times and nobody answered. Finally I had to go down and check at 10 pm if I could order anything to eat but the lady at the reception said, oh" I was busy so didn't pick up the call and we just have Margherita pizza to offer to a veg person at this time". Mind you guys, it's a tourist place and this hotel boasts a 247 room service and helpful reception for the guests. There is no convenience store around and there are no nearby shops that you can visit in the hour of need. Even though I had a great vacation, my stay at Holiday Inn remarkables park was not at all good. It was disappointing. Whatever we called them for , they had a Negative answer. First we called for a luggage rack as there was no place to keep the suitcases unless you are ok with keeping it on the floor, they said they don't have any more luggage racks. We had 2 suitcases and one luggage rack that was already there. Then I asked for sanitary pads, but even after mentioning that they can help with these things they did not have anything available. Then I asked for a basic food option at ten at night, which is not that late for a hotel that claims to have 24 hour service but I didn't get anything. Nobody was even there from room service who could help. The receptionist only bluntly told me that we just have a...

A mixed bag I have mixed, mostly positive emotions about the recent stay. The hotel is modern, clean with the very convenient location for the airport, but not so convenient location to the city. I guess, the location might be a bit troublesome for some. However, if you have a car, that’s doable. Nevertheless, the hotel has a limited number of car parks spots available, which wasn’t a problem during our recent stay, but could have been. In comparison, other hotel in the area offers guaranteed parking spots for the top loyalty members - something to think about it. The room was great and satisfactory, with an upgraded view (thank you). Breakfast was actually a positive surprise. Although, the selection was just what you would expect, the quality of breakfast was excellent. Everything was well-thought-out, fresh, with attention to details and quality. What brings this hotel a bit down is customer service. Despite of the fact that all loyalty benefits were granted, there was no acknowledgment of the status at the check-in, whatsoever. Overall, the check-in was pretty uneventful, although efficient. No acknowledgment our special occasion, which was communicated to the hotel. We really enjoyed cocktails at the bar. However, the service was reactive rather than proactive and most of the time absent. After two rounds, we left, regardless of the fact that we were up to for another round or two, as nobody attended us. Customer service was definitely provided during breakfast - we were welcomed with a big smile and enthusiasm, dishes were cleared extremely efficient. Emma at the Check-out was friendly and tried to initiate a bit of customary small-talk, which was positively received. An excessive 3% credit card surcharge was charged. It would be great if the front desk had an available email box, as reservations team took some time to reply. Overall, the hotel has a good potential with some easy fixes to be made to improve the hotel guests experience. We...

Do not stay here. Carpets throughout the hotel were immensely filthy. I have never seen such disgusting carpets in my life anywhere. I've attached some pictures. There are stains covering the hallways and the yellow couch in the lobby is also stained. Also beware when booking a "mountain view" room because according to them all of the rooms are "mountain view" because the hotel is surrounded by mountains. Well, yes thats true, but the only mountains that are pretty (and the ones in the advertising pics) are the remarkables range. Plus if you want better views of the remarkables, stay at the la Quinta nearby as it is closer an is actually has unobstructed views. But still beware that the remarkables don't have snow on them in the Southern Hemisphere Summer and are less magestic then as well. The breakfast buffet was paltry, and you are better off walking over to either hotel next door and using their cafes. The Dinner was ok. This hotel is also right next to the airport, and a construction site. If you want to stay in the area your better off staying in none of the hotels I've mentioned and instead stay in the actual city of Queenstown which is 15 mins away. You'll find a lively and walkable town and comparable prices for hotels. There's even a holiday inn there too! All around poor location, nasty carpets and furniture.

It was truly the best hotel experience I’ve had in New Zealand in recent years. This hotel offers incredible value for the level of luxury and service provided. The rooms were spotless and beautifully designed, providing a quiet and comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The room had a stunning mountain view, which made waking up each morning a delight, and the location was amazing—right next to the airport and close to a bus stop, making it easy to get around. The staff were amazing—friendly, attentive, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure a perfect stay. One of the standout features was the well-equipped snow equipment room, which made it incredibly convenient for our skiing adventures. The gym was also top-notch, with modern equipment that catered to all our workout needs. Additionally, the full buffet breakfast was not only delicious but also great value, offering a wide variety of options to start the day off right. Every detail of the hotel, from the cleanliness to the amenities, exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a luxurious yet affordable place to stay in Queenstown and close to the airport, I can’t recommend the Holiday Inn Remarkables enough. I will definitely be returning!
