Saigon Kingdom Vietnamese Restaurant Remarkables Park — Restaurant in South Island

This is our 2nd time visit we enjoyed the food! Beautiful! But service was poor. 3 waitresses were talking a lot at the counter so they didn't even look at us. We were trying to order some foods. And one waitress(lob hair and hairdyed) who took our order was such an impatient lady just i started ordering 2 starters, i said " and... " and she suddenly said " Anything else!! " Also she asked me about size of noodles options and she pointed "Small, Medium, Large" with her pen tapping!! Rude! That made me hurry and never ever had like that kind of service before. Even tho i wanted to get a desert menu but Still their private conversion was going on so my husband got it from the counter by them. What a ashame service. Just one lady with pony tail was nice and friendly.

But overall good except...

This place has awesome atmosphere really loved all the modern Vietnamese style decor. Service was pleasant & we were able to get a last min reservation. The menu has quite a few gluten free and vegan/vegetarian options which I do love about Vietnamese cuisine. We got the summer rice paper rolls and spring rolls (GF) for entree which were both quite nice. Then had beef and chicken pho for main. I found the chicken pho to be lacking flavour and the beef pho stock was quite sweet. The bottles of Siracha and hoisin sauce was sitting on a seperate table near the back door which wasn’t offered so that would have been nice to have before I was half way through the meal. Overall a nice experience yet food wasn’t amazing...

2021 : Very good service, very good food and best bubble tea and drinks in town. It's actually affordable bubble tea, not rip off prices like other bubble tea places in QT 👏👌

Update November 2022: Service has dropped a lot. Wait staff are snappy, unwelcoming and have double standard in regards to their friends or people they know can sit wherever they want, but they will tell off other customers and will ask you to move seats even if you are regular customers.

They have stopped making the bubble tea and the rice yoghurt drinks now but food wise is still good.

It would be great if their service can improve as their prices have increased and better service than these last 2 months...
