Horrible. Worst than.
young lady firstly discriminated against my wife’s registered service dog, ignorant to the laws, and even after explaining she said “but we’ve still had issues”. It’s hard to even comprehend how one would come up with this unlawful response after explicitly been advised it’s a registered service dog, having the same rights as you or I to enter the premises.
food came out no serviettes (what were we expected to use...). Glad we had knives and forks.
my wife could hardly stomach the chicken toasted sandwich. My steak sandwich was highly average. There was no ‘quality’ ingredients here. Other coffee clubs are certainly different, proving the franchise model.
no hot water for the Americano; but the side of cream. Most working in the industry know they come hand in hand. My expectations naturally too high with basic serviettes not arriving.
After discrimination occurred right from the start, to now, where it’s almost like we are sitting (as paying customers) in their establishment there is a sense they don’t want to be serving. Based on our experience and if the business owner does read and try to understand feedback, they may be given their wish. We at least expected an apology for the unlawful treatment let alone a decent meal. They knew about the former, the latter can be now read in open forum.
Good luck with service and food quality in this relatively expensive ‘branded’ establishment. There are so many great places in Queenstown. We can do better. The fact 2 people have walked in during the hour we have been here and the plethora of unhappy reviews sounds...
Read moreVery interesting Sunday morning for the family. We went out for breakfast but it just didn't proceed like we expected it to at all. We ordered 3 of their bacon, eggs and tomato on toast. We were then informed that their eftpos machine didn't work. We were also told that they could not accept out gift card because of said outage. Ok, back to cash I guess. We sat down, got our drinks and waited for our food. When the food arrived we were perplexed to see that our bacon, eggs and tomato on toast had been downgraded to bacon and eggs on toast, no tomato. When we brought this up with the staff, rather than apologising, they came to check our plates and then conversed with the chef who told the other staff that they had no tomato today. Now this is a breakfast place with about half their breakfast dishes containing some sort of tomato. They are also right across the street from a grocery store, which was already open.
Over all, we were hugely disappointed with our breakfast and didn't even get compensated for the missing tomato. I just cannot recommend this place as they cannot even provide their most basic staple product. Their staff was apologetic but just generally unhelpful.
A huge disappointment for the...
Read moreI sadly ordered the wrong thing. As in. I had pictured a grilled chicken patty topped with lettuce and avocado (and dreamed up a tomato and crispy fresh onions) and the ciabatta would have a light mayo spread. That is not what this sandwich is. :( My fault for not asking more questions. Totally my fault. Husband had some of it and thought it's tasty but a bit bland.
I am still feeling vegetable deprived from having had multiple meals of airplane food. I need veggies as bad as I need air to breathe. They have salads here, but wasn't feeling the descriptions.
Husband ordered up the Double Angus burger and I had a couple bites. It really is yummy. But it, too, lacks veggies. I need tomatoes! Onions! Lettuce! He was willing to switch out with mine. But a double patty burger oozing with cheese was double more guilt ridden than my mayo-chicken-avocado sami.
I appreciate the hustle of the understaffed restaurant on a holiday day. Wait time was 40 minutes and they do let you know ahead of time.
Liked the atmosphere and the breakfast dishes looked yummy. Lots of coffee and smoothy type...
