Hampton by Hilton Cusco — Hotel in Distrito de Cusco

This is a new hotel and is situated close to a vegetable market where I got fresh strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and local plums of all varieties. There is also a supermarket and laundry nearby, 3 to 5 minutes walk. The staff from arrival to departure were all very helpful and they spoke very good English. Special mention of Anglea, Jim, Matias and Nelson. The rooms were clean, comfortable beds and a kettle not a coffee machine, which we prefer as we like a good cup of tea. So great location, great service and the night before we left there was a hand written note, thanking us for our visit and chocolates and brownie. This was a nice touch. Will definitely stay again. My daughter and I were some of the first guests in this new hotel. We were blessed by the fantastic setting, the incredible food, and mostly the caring staff. My wife was in a Cusco hospital. My son reserved this hotel with his many Hilton points, but from the moment we walked in, we were welcomed and made a member of their family. We spoke with the Manager every day, the wait staff were all super helpful, and the front desk clerks, especially Angela, were always looking for ways to help us. A relatively newer hotel in Wanchaq area of Cusco very close to the bus station. It is walking distance from the main square. A very big grocery store within 5 mins walking distance. The hotel is very good, staff at the reception very friendly. They offer coca tea as soon as you come. They even checked me in early as they had a room available. The breakfast buffet spread is amazing and the food is good. The reception lobby has a sky open lobby. The rooms are well appointed and have clean bed sheets and laundry. I would recommend this hotel to anyone...
