When we arrived at Villa Hermoza hotel we were shocked by the external aspect of the building that looked as it had not been renovated since its construction.||The impression was confirmed by the poor stage and horrible decoration of the hall, corridors, and the rest of the premises.||Initially we were offered a couple of completely outdated rooms, extremely noisy , as they had views to a very busy road, and with so called windows that did not insultate at all. After our inmediate complaint we were upgraded to better rooms that had windows to an interior backyard.||We could hardly sleep during the 3 nights spent there , as there were plenty of youngsters partying in their rooms, with little reaction from the hotel desk office.||The breakfast was shameful , with a watered juice, undrinkable coffee, and a very poor offer. Breakfast was pretty good, decent options and semi fresh. While the bed did slope a little towards the head, it was comfortable, and the sheets were clean. The staff were decently friendly. There was a definite lack of plugs in my room, so I had to unplug the TV to charge my computer. All in all, it was ok, nothing...
Read moreAdorable, noisy, friendly, great beds.||I read a lot of reviews prior to our stay. We seemed to e lucky to have hot water when we wanted.||The door locks will leave many Americans skittish as I could pop it open with a hip shot. ||The place is beautiful and charming with spiral hallways, a center lounge, nice accents.||W had enough plugs formal our electronics. I agree that it w quite a long ways uphill to the Plaza de Armas, but there were lots of stores nearby. The staff was friendly and outgoing.||They did seem a little overwhelmed by our group of 38 at times, but they were never not nice.||We shared a triple room as a couple which gave us plenty of space to sort through our gear. The room was small enough to get a little warmer with the oil radiator heater. Not an American hotel. ||Go...
